Hot_Dog_Bar_July_4I get a little excited when I think about how to plan themed parties that are unique and outside of the box, especially for 4th of July. I like to serve an All-American menu since it is Independence Day, but of course with a twist. This year we’re doing an All-American hot dog bar with a selection of toppings that all follow a patriotic theme. The downloads below include every piece you will need to create your own 4th of July hot dog bar!

The first PDF download in the set is the hot dog bar menu. Edit your own menu or use our suggestions for topping combinations! Like the All American hot dog, topped with ketchup, mustard, relish and onion. . . Or the Red, White & Bleu which is a combination of red onion, blue cheese and garlic aioli – my personal favorite. Then we have O Say, Can U CCC? which consists of chili, cheese and chives – yum! Set your toppings in matching bowls with spoons and signs and let your guests go wild. You will also find a download for the blue bands which you can use to arrange each topper set. These are also editable so you can add your own combo names. To edit the menu and blue bands, you will need to download and install the free font Klinic Slab Medium

But wait there is more! Our DIY trays are great for serving your hot dogs and corn. LOVE! Print these onto white card stock so they are nice and sturdy for holding your food items. We are also including a few other printables in the hot dog bar set: the decorative bands on the tiered tray and the Ketchup and Mustard labels. Hot dogs are things I save for special occasions. I would always advise buying a good quality hot dog with a high meat content. Applegate does a great uncured hot dog made from 100% organic beef and it tastes divine. Of course you can also choose a turkey or tofu dog to give your guest more options.

For more inspiration and printables for a handcrafted 4th of July party, head back to some of the previous posts. You will find matching indigo style printable invitations, a paper star light garland, a printable Celebrate banner and a 3D paper star garland. Or, browse all of our Fourth of July projects – it is fun to see all of the possibilities! However you choose to celebrate this 4th of July, have fun and make it handmade. Enjoy! ~ Lia
