Fathers_Day_DIY_ArtI happened to have it on my project list to do a simple, last-minute Father’s Day project. When Michaels invited me to join 29 other crafty bloggers in their Michaels Makers group I knew exactly the project I would make. As Michaels Makers, we are given a monthly challenge (you know how I love challenges) that we are to base our project on, all sponsored by Michaels of course. This first project challenge was to use their new online store. . . hallelujah, they have an online store now!! . . .  and pick something from their find a project tab and order all of the pieces for the project with the add all to cart button. So easy, right? The project I chose was this Fathers Day Framed Art. They asked us to put our own creative spin onto the project so I ordered the framed art materials and added gold leaf, gold leaf spray adhesive, one sheet of gold card stock. I then printed two 11×17 Father’s Day gift wrap that you can download and print from this post. I designed one of my favorite father quotes that would be cut from the black card stock and overlay the gold card stock. I have included the template for this quote for you to print and cut with your craft knife or an SVG file for your cutting machine. Below you will find my step-by-step instructions for this project. Have a happy Father’s Day! ~ Lia
