DIY Felt Mushroom Gift Topper
To finish our set of DIY felt gift toppers or ornaments, all in warm, wooly woodland style, here are the acorn and mushroom patterns and tutorial. All of the wool blend felt used in this series is from our shop. If you have not worked with wool or wool blend felt, you owe it to yourself to try. It feels so luxurious to the touch and is easy to cut and sew. Like I have said before, I have become addicted to wool felt. We are thinking of doing a spring animal series. What do you think? Instructions
- Gather your materials.
- Cut felt pieces using pattern.
- Glue small pieces, caps and stems into place.
- Blanket stitch around edge of piece to attach back and front.

Hi Emma! No I don’t have a no-sew version but you could just use fabric glue or hot glue around the edges. These are really simple though, you should give hand stitching a try!

Is there a way to convert the downloads to an SVG to use with the Cricut Explore?
Not really. You can convert to a JPG and upload that way though.

I just love this set! My son will turn one 10 days before Christmas and he was a small tree that will be in his room this year. I wanted to make some ornaments for that tree knowing that he was going to be all in that tree and would most likely be taking the ornaments off to play with. When I found these, they went to the top of the list! Can’t wait to see how they turn out! And can’t wait to see them on his tree (and off the tree, on the floor of his room, and in his little hands)!

I have made the raccoon, dear, and fox. They are sew cute and gives me something to do while with the family. I am making the squirrel, rabbit, and a ladybug, owl, and hedgehog (they are not as cute as yours, but they are ok). I am making a mobile for my grand babies. Thanks for sharing your talent.
