DIY Ribbon HeadbandsHappy Monday! I am writing you from snowy Salt Lake City where I am spending the first few days with Cricut and 99 other craft bloggers to hear about their new cutting machine announcement, then to attend the big Alt Summit through Friday. I will be posting the BIG Cricut announcement my Alt adventure on a lot on Instagram and a bit on Facebook, so follow me there to see what we are all up to.

This last Friday my daughter Emily was going through my ribbon drawer. I have a lot of ribbons. She suggested we make her some new headbands for her to wear to school this next term, so we pulled out some headband blanks (that I always keep handy in case I need to make a crown), the hot glue gun and we got to work. The ribbon section of my fabric store has so many gorgeous ribbons to choose from and you can make a pretty headband to coordinate with any outfit for just a few dollars. You can also find the beaded embellishments in the bridal section. Love it! I’m sharing my steps of how we make these colorful hair accessories below. The green headband is definitely a St. Patty’s Day must, don’t you think? Until tomorrow! ~ Lia
