Thanksgiving Bouquet!
For my upcoming family Thanksgiving dinner, I wanted to great a bouquet for my table that is lush, abundant and hand made. So that is what I did. For this bouquet I added my crepe paper mums in plum and coral, acorns made in metallic copper and brown, maple leaves in plum, gold, copper and deep green and finally the sage green and plum artichokes. Each piece has a floral wire stem to secure its position in the floral foam filled basket. To finish the arrangement I added a bit of texture by adding the small jute and twig balls that I found at my craft store. This bouquet is definitely colorful and unique! Hope this gives you a little inspiration for what you can make for you day of thanks. Cheers! ~ Lia

Actually, I guess a rectangle,is what I need. I can’t seem to figure it out. Brain is a bit slow this morning!
Try a 5×5″ piece!
Lia I am beyond excited I just received your book and crepe paper can hardly wait to make some
On your shopping site I don’t see all the colors in the Thanksgiving Bouquet being offered. Where can sage green and plum and coral, just to name a few, be purchased! I love the colors you used and would like to replicate it exactly!
Thank you for any information you can offer.

Hi Susan, we don’t offer these colors in our line of crepe paper (yet!) I used Carte Fini 180 gram italian crepe for this project; colors are Salmon, Sage Green, Green Leaf, Marionberry, Saddle, Copper Metallic, Gold Metallic. The only color I’m not sure about (as it may have been discontinued) is the purple used for the artichoke. It looks like it could be Hazelwood or Light Chestnut.
Thank you so much for such a timely reply! Not only is the range of designs offerings top notch, but your interaction with customers, which is so important to your clients satisfaction, is superior!
Thank you kindly!
Oh thank you Susan! We really try to respond quickly. We are here for you all!!
Hi there. Is it possible to cut these templates with a Cricut Explore? I noticed that you have svg files for other mums but not these. Thanks!
The Cricut cannot cut crepe paper, since the surface of the paper isn’t completely flat it ends up tearing the paper so we cut all our crepe by hand.
Thanks!! Good to know in advance because I would have tried! 🙂
I just stumbled across your YouTube channel which led me here…wow! Everything is so beautiful – my 9 year old daughter is off school today and we have been mesmerized. I see some quality craft time together in our future!
Thank you so much, that made my day to hear!!
Hi Lia
Still working on my Thanksgiving arrangement–making cards at the same time means I’m switching from one project to another seems like every night after work. Question for you–did you do your arrangement so you could see it from all sides–or is it just one sided. I’m planning on doing one that’s a little more square and probably lower so I can keep it on my table during dinner–or I could also put it on the mantle, which would also be glorious!!!!
Can’t wait to share. I’ve got 2 artichokes, 4 dahlias, and a pine cone (that really looks more like an artichoke, except it’s smaller and brown) so far. I have a long way to go. I just got my supply of beautiful Paper-papers, so I’ve got some work ahead of me.
As always, thanks for the inspiration!!!!
Susan
Hi Susan, thanks for sharing all your pretty projects with us on social media:-) We did our arrangement so that you could see if from all sides but if you are planning on putting it on a mantle you could save some time by only doing one side:-)
I’m trying to decide if I do it for the table or the mantle. I’m leaning toward the mantle–I think it would be gorgeous there and I don’t have to be concerned about it being too tall.
Thanks again for your inspiration and encouragement!!!!
I’m having a blast doing this–can you tell????
xoxo
