DIY Felt Halloween Crown
Next up in our series of DIY Halloween headbands is this fab Halloween crown in felt and vinyl. This simple DIY fascinator and heart scepter will add a dainty dose of Halloween magic to any outfit! Made using a store bought plastic headband, our printable pattern below, felt, iron-on vinyl and a little glue, this is a great project for everyone – including those with limited crafting experience.

Simple DIY Halloween Crown Fit for a Queen!
Begin by downloading and printing out the template below. You can use glitter felt, or make your own by ironing on glitter vinyl to your felt. Then, cut out the patterns and glue the hearts to the crown. You can also add a few jewels in the center of the hearts. Wrap the pattern into a 3D miniature crown and use a low-temperature glue gun to attach the crown to a headband. And your felt Halloween crown is ready!

How did you attach the crown to the headband and have secure enough to wear? Thanks in advance!
Hi Megan! We just used our low-temperature glue gun to get this to stay together. Be careful though, the glue might melt the plastic a tiny bit!
What did you use for the scepter, is it a wooden dowel painted?
It’s a dowel wrapped with washi tape 🙂
