Happy October everyone! To me Halloween and Martha Stewart go hand in hand. She just has a knack for this holiday so when I received my new 12 Months of Martha box I was delighted to see it full of Halloween decor goodies. I decided to choose a black and white spider theme and use the craft items to decorate my font door. We started the decorating by doubling the felt table runner as a spider web stencil for the DIY sisal Halloween doormat. What an easy project using a simple can of black spray paint! The table runner then continues the spider web pattern as we attached it up the side of the wall inviting the over-sized spider family to nest around the door. These dimensional silhouette spiders come 12 in a pack and we used everyone of them for our decor. Keeping the monochromatic look, we covered white pumpkins with black lacy pumpkin sleeves. We then made a spider nest wreath by wiring a circle of white foam balls in different sizes and and covering it with torn white cheese cloth. The final touch was to write a message to visitors from our Ms. Spider. Spooky yet elegant, don’t you think? Stay tuned for the next few weeks as we share more Halloween inspiration, printables and tutorials. So many fun things to come! ~ Lia
