Welcome to my Halloween craft series! I will be sharing fun ideas, printable and tutorials for the next few weeks to help you get ready for the All Hallows Eve. I love the look of traditional handcrafted paper cutting, and have been collecting pieces and images of this art, though I have yet to give it a go myself. When I received this Martha Stewart spider web punch in my Halloween craft goodies box, I knew I wanted to do a project just using this paper cutting tool. I punched the large spider web from a piece of silver metallic card stock. I then pulled out my jewelry pliers, a necklace chain, earring wires and a few o-rings. After adding the o-ring onto the paper web pieces, it was simple to attach it to the earring wires and the necklace chain. To keep the necklace simple I simply attached the paper spider web to both ends and tied it around the neck. For an easy bracelet, I tied the paper pieces with silver ribbon to make a chunky spider web chain. This is a perfect set of jewelry to wear in October or during your Halloween work day or to a party where a full costume is not in the plan. Of course I had to add the over-sized black glittering spider that I picked up at the craft store and hot glued to a black resin ring. It completely finished the Spider Woman look. Thanks Emily (can you tell she is my daughter?) for modeling with me today. Enjoy! ~ Lia

Haha ha ha Genial Lia !! ha ha ha Kisses
Glad you found the fun in it! I will be wearing these in October. 🙂
Oh shucks I don’t have that punch, know the granddaughters would love this. Your daughter is quite a model. That jewelry is so blasted cute. What a great idea. Love you made it with silver paper, perfect.
I had to check my MS punches, have eerie branches punch but not spider web. Might have to use my coupon next week for that punch. Hopefully either Jo-ann’s or Michaels will have it. So glad you shared this project, awesome. Happy week
Thanks JaneEllen! Branches might make cute earrings too!
Super cool! Although, until I saw the Martha punch picture, I thought you’d gone crazy pants and cut each piece out by hand! Hahaha. 🙂
Maddie saw the spider pictures and thought it was real and said, “Oh My Gosh, I would NOT put that on my hand! I can’t believe Lia is KISSING it!!”
No time for crazy pants here! Haha. And no time for kissing spiders unless they are made from foam and glitter! She is so cute.
