How is everyone’s summer going? We have been enjoying the sunshine here in Portland and are excited to start on some tropical crafts! August feels like a great time for that — we’re right in the middle of summer and don’t want it to end. So let’s bring some fun tropical decor into our everyday lives! We’re kicking off our tropical DIY projects with our free August 2019 printable calendar.
If you’re new here, we share a new monthly calendar page for you to download and print each month. But if you’re a member, you can access the full design now and download the rest of our 2019 calendar.
Let’s Get Tropical
Our August 2019 printable calendar features gorgeous tropical leaves and flowers at the top. As you may know, we love monstera leaves and have crafted them out of paper for wreaths, wall art, and more. We have also made a monstera leaf drop dish! The paper palm fans are another favorite.
You may also want to craft some tropical flowers this month! For ideas, you can take a look at our tropical floral bouquet. Or, you can make a few simple blooms along with your paper leaves and create a tropical wreath.
August is also known as “Family Fun Month.” So if you are looking for family-fun activities, we have tons of great crafting activities for kids. And of course if you want to continue the tropical fun, we have tons of gorgeous tropical projects for you to browse through — and more new ideas coming this month!
We can’t wait to see what you create this month, so make sure to share pictures on Instagram or Facebook with the hashtag #MadeWithLia. And if you need some more inspiration, we will have our new monthly trends and ideas video up soon! If you want, you could even use our August 2019 printable calendar to keep track of everything you want to craft. Or hang it up in your kid’s room so they know what’s on the agenda for that day. Happy crafting, friends!
Printing & Editing Instructions
Download your free July 2019 printable calendar (at the end of the post). Then, download the Sagona Demo font. After you click the link for the font, click the green button toward the top right of the page that says “buying options.” You will see the word “FREE” highlighted next to the desktop icon. Click the blue “add” button to download it to your computer.
Once you’ve edited your monthly calendar, you can go ahead and print it. We print our calendars on 8.5″x11″ white cardstock. But you can also print onto regular copy paper for a more lightweight feel.
