Boho Glam

We specifically chose a gold and teal color palette for our Boho Glam event, with other metallics mixed in for variety. The style strikes a perfect balance between dark sultry colors and luxe, bright hues. With this design concept we tried to blend old Hollywood glamour with a casual and eclectic energy. And it was so fun to watch it come to life! Once we chose our color palette, we decided to center everything around our feather design. From here, our maker Jessica crafted the show-stopping paper feather backdrop. This backdrop was a beautiful complement for our gold crepe paper ball lantern. We incorporated feathers into the table setting, and made cute drink stirrers.

Not only was our decor Boho Glam, but we also indulged in making some creative accessories and props to match the theme. We put together DIY headpieces with our paper feathers plus antlers for our guests to wear. The headpieces are a great project for New Year’s because you can personalize them to make them unique to you. To create more options for accessories, we also made printable hats, crowns and photo props, all in the teal and gold color palette. These are super easy to make, so a perfect project for anyone short on time when preparing for a New Year’s event. New Year’s Eve is always a holiday with lots of cameras going around, so we wanted to make sure that all of our accessories were easily camera-ready. Come back each day this week for the downloads to make the props, accessories, headpieces and gorgeous feather backdrop!

The last piece of our Boho Glam event was the faux fur accents. One of the nice things about Boho Glam design is that you don’t have to be shy with textures and patterns!
