Wedding season has traditionally always been during the summer, but one of the biggest wedding trends over the past few years has been fall weddings. There are lots of benefits to having an “off-season” wedding. Venues are usually more available and less expensive, guests will not be away on their summer vacations and you can embrace the unique offerings of each season. No matter what date your wedding falls on, you can tailor your wedding bouquet to capture the essence of the season. We used our Four Seasons Home Decor Cricut cartridge to create four paper wedding bouquets perfect for spring, summer, fall and winter weddings.
For each of the paper wedding bouquets we began with a 5 inch foam ball. Cut off one end of the foam ball so that it has a flat back. Fold 5-6 pieces of 18 gauge floral wire in half and glue the ends into the flat side of the foam ball. Wrap floral tape around the bunch of wires to create a handle for the bouquet. From here, you can begin crafting each bouquet. The trick for filling out the paper wedding bouquets is to start by gluing on an abundance of leaves and then building out the arrangement from there. Glue the leaves onto short pieces of floral wire that you can stick into the foam, and use a variety of greens to create depth in the bouquet. We found all of our gorgeous metallic papers on Paper-Papers. Feel free to browse their site to pick out your favorite colors!
For our Spring bouquet, we went for a lush, blooming look with royal purple orchids and vibrant green leaves. The Summer bouquet features happy white daisies with pops of cornflower blue flowers and yellow freesia. Moving into the Fall bouquet, we of course wanted to feature fall leaves in rich plums with gold acorns and large red cosmos. Our Winter bouquet may be my favorite. It is elegant and crisp and just looking at it makes me think of smelling an irresistible pine scent. This bouquet blends beautiful white gardenias with pine leaves, holly berries and pinecones. A true stunner for any winter wedding!

Hi! Do you have a tutorial for the spring bouquet? I have the SVG file from DS, but I am not seeing the tutorial anywhere.
Hi Tina! This is an older project that was commissioned by Cricut using flowers from the cartridge we created for them. Unfortunately there is no photo tutorial (only the written instructions included with the project on Design Space).
I have the summer bouquet files from my cricut access, but it seems the yellow freesia that is displayed was not included in the cut file. How do I get that?
Hi Gina! Send an email to hello@liagriffith.com and we’ll get this sorted out for you 🙂
i have the svg file for the autumn bouquet from my cricut access account but the red flower in the pictures above isn’t part of it so where do i get it from?
Hey Meghan, send us an email at hello@liagriffith.com and we can help you!
Is there assembly instructions for the summer bouquet? I have all the flowers and leaves cut from Cricut design space but it looks like there are additional flowers in there. I was wondering how you assembled the entire bouquet. love these! and this is my first bridal bouquet. did do one of your large flowers arrangements with the hydrangeas and I love it!
Hi Jessica,
For tips on assembling you bouquet once all of your flowers are assembled check out this post! https://liagriffith.com/paper-greenery-wedding-bouquet-video/
good morning, how do I get these files? thank you
Hi Donatella,
You must purchase these files from Cricut as this was a project we did with them.
I wonder .From where in Europe can I buy this wonderful paper? Thank you!
I believe in other parts of the world it’s referred to as “Pearlised” paper!
Yes,I know but is not the same paper.Thank you!
What do use for a bouquet base? Thanks!
I made my own version of a bouquet base– you can see me make one here! https://liagriffith.com/paper-greenery-wedding-bouquet-video/
hello, i have the files for the spring bouquet but can not seem to figure out the small purple buds. i dont see the file for it when i got my files from cricut. is there a way i can get an SVG file for them?
Thank you for pointing this out, Stephanie! It looks like the wrong file has been uploaded to Design Space. The buds are part of the orchid flower included in the bouquet, which you can find here for free! https://liagriffith.com/diy-metallic-paper-dendrobium-orchids/
Very pretty…..looks real. Where can you get the papers?
Thanks! We order metallic 80lb. text weight paper from Paper-papers.com.
Lia~
Absolutely Gorgeous! Love all your bridal bouquets. I was wondering if you had a video of how you make the foam ball & the handle for the bouquet & also if you can tell me how to make these bouquets into cascading bouquet.
Thank in advance. 😀
Thank you Pam! Sorry, I don’t have a video for that. To make a bouquet cascading, just add longer floral wires of foliage and flowers. This bouquet has excess foliage on one side that I could have added to make more cascading: https://liagriffith.com/diy-rustic-paper-bridal-bouquet/
Hi Lia, I got through to the purchase page almost right after left my comment so now that I have the file I am slowly putting it together, but I am slightly confused about some of the directions. For example in the first part it says to make 10 cornflowers, but in the directions it doesn’t mention how to put together cornflowers, only how to make bachelor buttons. I believe they are meant to be the same thing but I just wanted to make sure before I continue with the whole project. Any help is appreciated and I am loving the files so far! Thanks again!
Hi Emily! Yes cornflowers/bachelor buttons are the same thing– that’s actually a typo though, we meant to only use one term to avoid confusion! Thanks for pointing that out.
Can I buy just the file for the Summer bouquet? I am looking to make it for my best friend for her wedding but am possibly not understanding how to get the file. Do I need to buy the whole home decor file set to get the leaves for this one? Thanks so much and am looking forward to this beautiful creation!
Hi Emily! This was an exclusive project commissioned by Cricut, so it’s only available through their site. The bouquet can be purchased alone in Design Space though! https://us.cricut.com/design/#/landing/project-detail/11005
are there files for these on your website? I was hoping to use with my cricut. That is one of the reasons i subscribed to your website!!
Hi Cindy, this project was sponsored by Cricut so these specific SVG cut files are only available in Design Space (see links in post). We have lots of other paper flowers available for members though!
Hi Lia i jus made the winter bouquet for my mother and it came out awesome thank you!! I wish i could post a pic of it to you i put it in a glass vase with acorns and pine cones
That’s great, Diane! You’re always welcome to email us photos to hello@liagriffith.com or post to our Facebook page 🙂
Beautiful projects! Would be amazing to win this prize package!!
Wow Lia–you’ve done it again!! Absolutely lovely!!! ??
Thank you Susan 🙂
The fall one is magical!
More beautiful creations!!
Love them. I’m a member of liagriffith. Are the cutting files only available to buy?
Hi! Yes this specific project was a partnership with Cricut so the cut files have to be purchased. We have lots of other flower templates and SVG cut files on our site for our members though!
Lovely flowers ! Great work 1
Thank you!
I love all of them…just hard to decide which one to make for my wedding, they are all so beautiful….I don’t have a cricut machine, just wondering if the pdf format is available too.
Thank you Maylen! I’m sorry, this was a partnership with Cricut so only cut files are available through their online software. We have lots of paper flowers on the site though (and all of our crepe paper flowers are handcut!), so hopefully you can find some that will work for your wedding. Search here: https://liagriffith.com/handcraftyourlife/paper-flowers/ (Please note, some of the flowers in this category are partnerships with Cricut or only have cut files, but many have PDFs available).
Cant wait to try these out! Thanks for the inspiration Lia.
You’re so welcome Amy, thanks for your comment! 🙂
Dear Lia,
You captured the heart of each season in floral beauty. As a bouquet, wreath or arrangement they are lovely and inspired.
Thank you for your hard work.
Sincerely,
Jennifer J
Thank you for your sweet comment Jennifer! 🙂
These bouquets are lovely. So inspiring.
Thanks for your sweet comment, Pat!
Really great, but no cricut in Italy, so no winter bouque 🙁
I’m sorry Eliza, hopefully one day it will be available everywhere!
Can the downloads only be used with certain cricuts
Hi Liz! You will need a Cricut Explore (or Explore Air) to use our SVG files 🙂
OH, these are extraordinary! Absolutley beautiful 🙂
Thank you Janet, we love how they turned out!
These are stunning! I love the look of metallic paper but I can’t find them around my area. I wonder if there is a alternative type of paper that can be used to create the same look?
Thank you Kathleen! Are you able to order online from paper-papers.com? Your local craft store may carry pearlized paper (which is practically the same thing), but any text weight paper will still turn out beautiful results 🙂
