Instructions for Painted Crepe Crepe Paper Tulips
- Gather your craft tools and materials. Then download the tulip pattern below.
- Cut the crepe paper according to the pattern, using your scissors or a cutting machine.
- Fold a petal in half, slightly off-center. Fold up the longer end to make a crease in the center, then add dab of glue to ends to secure.
- Continue with each petal and then curl your paper petals with the edge of your scissors.

Leave a CommentI love your site and all the flowers you create. I have been having so much fun. The patterns are fun and easy to create beautiful flowers, however I am having trouble with the pan pastel part. Either it doesn’t stay on the flower and ends up more in clumps on my table or i get too much on the flower and it doesn’t look blended. Do you have a video or anything you can recommend that helps with the application of the pan pastels. I love the dimension and color it adds to the flower but I am having trouble with the process. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Is there a way to set the pastel color so it doesn’t rub off on anything one completed?

What color paper and pastel did you use for the lighter shade of tulip in this picture? I have made the mango and magenta tulips and they are stunning! Would like to make the other tulip to complement.

We used Honeysuckle from our Secret Garden Collection for the lighter pink tulips with the Orange (280.5) PanPastel. 🙂
