img43cFor those of you who have read my home tour posts, you know how much I love West Elm. For my eclectic mix of upcycled, artsy and cozy, West Elm gives me pieces that complete my rooms including my all time West Elm favorite, their bedding. I was delighted to hear that they recently added a wedding registry to their long list of services and encourage all of the to-be-wedded to go register for your now home together! My dear friends Lauren and Nelson (who are getting married next weekend) registered at West Elm which made picking the perfect gifts for them even easier. You can select dishes, linens and even kitchen gear as well as key pieces of furniture. A great start to wedded bliss!

As if there isn’t enough to love about West Elm, I am so excited about their integration of local artists and vendors at every one of their locations. Not only are they opening their spaces to creative classes and events, but are beginning to feature local artists and crafters in their shops. I have taught four paper crafting classes at West Elm in the last year and if look on your local West Elm Facebook page you can see the classes and events that are offered in your area. Last week I attended an afternoon soiree at my Portland West Elm, where they brought together their preferred local vendors for weddings and events. It was like a mini wedding faire, but much more personal. Here are some shots from the event featuring these Portland wedding specialists: // Saint Cupcake // Catering at its Best // Yellow Fish Paperie //Ink & Peat Home & Floral // Champagne Wedding Coordination // Northwest Wedding Photography // Professional Parties DJ // Portland West Elm Stylist Skye Wheeler & Portland West Elm Co-Manager Lisa Roher
