DIY Father’s Day Treasure Box
Father's Day is coming up on June 21st here in the USA and in Europe and we have put together this super sweet DIY Father's Day project for you and the kids to make at home. Family life is hectic and busy and stopping to savor the love can be hard sometimes. This box of love notes, made specifically for Dad is the perfect way for your kiddos to tell Daddy how much he means to them. We picked up the Artminds® Cornice Box, wooden letters and paints in Michaels and covered the box using a mix of papers and washi tapes. The little circular picture frames on the inside of the box were made using two letter 'O's from Michaels and we painted those, along with the DAD letters in a coordinating craft paint. Below you will find the SVG cut file and the PDF for the tie and bow tie papers that your kids can write their messages on to, as well as the 'We Love You' lettering. Along with telling their Daddy how much they love him, maybe the kids would like to write down some of the things they love about their Daddy, maybe they want to mention some of the great things they have done together or maybe they just want to say thanks for being wonderful. Whatever your kids choose to say to Dad on Father's Day we know that he will be overwhelmed with this handmade show of genuine love and affection - just remember to hand Dad a tissue at the same time! Enjoy ~ Lia
