There is so much that goes into preparing for a wedding, and even with the months of planning, the wedding day tends to be chaotic in its own way. The best way around this is to arm yourself with a team of trusty bridesmaids and make sure that you have any little things you might need in a pinch. Introducing…our wedding day essentials kit! We were trying to think of another way to use the gorgeous watercolor graphics from our Botanical Easter Brunch Set, and we loved how soft and delicate they looked when mixed into a wedding project.
Printable Labels
Find all the labels in our PDF download below. We made labels for all of our toiletries, but they are all editable so you can customize them for your bridal emergency kit. To customize the text you will need to download and install the free fonts Learning Curve (script font) and Museo 300 and 500. The first two pages of the file are the labels, and the third page you can use as iron-ons for your canvas bags. If you are making iron-ons, you will need to mirror that page, then print directly onto iron-on transfer paper. Otherwise, you can use these as regular labels like the rest of the designs in the set. We used Cricut printable vinyl with our Canon PIXMA TS8020 to give our labels both a velvety color and texture (the printer’s rear tray is great for thicker materials like this). Find links to our materials in Shop this Project!
Things to Put Into your Kit
Of course you can add whatever wedding essentials you might need in your wedding day emergency kit, but here are a few suggestions if you need some inspiration:
- lip balm
- tissues
- hair spray
- hand sanitizer
- mints
- deodorant
- water
- ibuprofen
- nail polish
- hand lotion
- hair ties
- cotton swabs and round pads
Run With It!
Bridesmaids can make this wedding day essentials kit for their bride, or the bride can make a set of kits as bridesmaid gifts. Either way, you’re going to want to be as prepared as possible for such an exciting day! We love the idea of throwing a wedding essentials kit for bridesmaids into some bridal party totes with other little goodies for your ladies. Other great bridal party gift ideas are velvet cover notebooks or homemade beeswax candles. Do you have a DIY bridal party favor in mind? Is there anyway to get the template without any of the graphics? I would like to use this for a my daughters birthday, its a girls weekend getaway.
Sorry Allison, unfortunately we can’t accommodate custom requests 🙁
Is there a print and cut file available for Cricut?
Hi Kathy, sorry no Cricut file for this project. It was commissioned by Canon so it’s only a printable.
without “Bridesmaid” a nice set for short travels / weekend trips
