Who doesn't love to color? There's just something so calming about watching colors blend and change as you work your way around a blank piece of paper. Art — coloring, in particular — provides so many benefits to the brain. It relieves stress, encourages relaxation, and promotes creativity. In addition to all those positives, it's just plain fun!

This month's theme has been all about treasures we find in the ocean. We think we hit the nail on the head with these colored paper shell cards. This tutorial comes in two designs, and each one offers plenty of room to practice with different coloring mediums. Once your seashells are complete, pop them into a coordinating A-7 envelope to hand over to a friend or loved one.
