Become a MemberThis whimsical Cardstock Paper Watering Can will transport your kiddo to vibrant world of imagination. This project is a wonderful accompaniment to our rich play garden collection. Plus, it’s a breeze to make, taking just around 30 minutes. We suggest hauling out your cutting machine to make cutting and construction that much easier. We also recommend using a curling tool to help get those crisp creases and rounded edges, especially when working with cardstock. If you’re cutting by hand, remember your detail knife and ruler to help you stay precise. Once you’ve gathered your materials and tools, you’re ready to begin!
Gardens have such a unique way of captivating our hearts, don’t they? There’s something profoundly therapeutic about tending to the earth, watching life sprout, and nurturing it to full bloom. While you can’t use our Cardstock Watering Can to refresh your real garden, we love it as an instrument of play for the junior green thumbs in your family.
One great thing about this Cardstock Watering Can is that you won’t need a wheelbarrow full of supplies to create it! We’ve kept it simple so your kiddos can easily join the fun. First, choose the cardstock that best suits your imaginary garden. Next, cut and glue your pieces, and then finally — assemble! Once complete, you can paint on vibrant flowers, add glitter accents, or affirmations – anything you want. Your garden, your story.
Once your cardstock masterpiece is complete, proudly display it in your home. Use it as a centerpiece, conversation starter, or toy for your little gardeners, or simply as a reminder of the beauty that awaits in your real spring garden. Also check out our Paper Plant Pots and Geometric Paper Vases.
