DIY Gift Toppers for our Main Squeezes

Recently we shared our citrus slice gift wrap, which features my original watercoloring for the winter citrus season. Of course we had to follow those designs up with some matching citrus gift toppers and tags! We are especially excited about these because it is the first time we have tried making gift toppers with shrink film. They turned out beautifully! 

Print, Cut & Bake

There are two PDFs in the downloads below, one meant for cardstock and the other meant for shrink film. The shrink film designs are larger, with a much softer color palette. Don’t worry, these colors will be nice and brighten up as soon as you bake them. We found our white shrink film on Amazon, which we linked below. Print directly onto the shrink film, trim and then use a hole punch to create holes at the tops of your tags. Using a hole punch is the most important step in making your citrus gift toppers – you must do this before baking! Then, follow the instructions on your specific shrink paper to bake them. 

If you are using the smaller tags, simply print onto cardstock. We added a link to our favorite brand in Shop this Project. After we used citrusy colored baker’s twine to add the tags to our gifts. We love this special touch! Mix and match the toppers however you would like. We particularly like the look of adding a leaf with each citrus slice.
