Crepe paper poinsettias are also NOT poisonous to children or pets, unlike their live versions! 🙂 Another reason to love them, in addition to the “no watering needed”!!
LOVE that! So true.
Hello Lia:
A friend of mine has just sent me your site. I would like to know until when will the videos be available. I am rushing this message. Many thanks!!!
This will be available until the end of August. 🙂

Will members keep access to this class after the 31st? I’m going to start early for next year, this year got away from me.
Annual members will continue to get access!
Wow thanks for the opportunity!
Enjoy!
This is awesome.
Enjoy!
Thank you Lia
Life got crazy a few months ago and I wasn’t able to do them this summer – so grateful these are still up! The crepe paper cone trees might be a great first crepe craft for my kids to give a try 🙂
Thanks so much Lia & team!
You’re welcome! Let us know if your kids enjoy making the cone trees!
Some lovely holiday projects! The magnolia was my wedding flower, so especially excited to try it.
They are one of my favorites! Happy Crafting!
This is one of the first flowers we posted, and yes we have many other versions that offer sepals. https://liagriffith.com/video-tutorial-frosted-paper-rose-bridal-bouquet/
Thank you so much for the free workshops
I would love to join the workshops
You are kind and helpful
So happy you enjoyed this one!
Hi! For the crepe paper cone trees, can you please tell me the weight of the cardstock you use to make your own cone? Thank you for your reply!
I used a 65lb but I do believe most weights will work. Note that the heavier might cause cracks in the paper as you make the cone, but all of that would be covered with crepe paper.
Are the poinsettia petals and leave mod podge?
Not for this flower.
great
All done!!! I really enjoyed Christmas.
Yay!!
Thank you so much!!!
Nothing better than Christmas projects!!!
So happy you are enjoying it!!

Hi Team Lia, I’m having trouble getting the video for the Holly Berry Wreath. I am able to see the other 3 videos. I signed out and restarted but still can’t get the video. Help please. I’m making at least 4 of these wreaths for Christmas presents ( finally got all of those holly berries made).
Hi Maggie! I just checked the video and it’s working fine on our end. Can you email a screenshot of what you are seeing when you try to access the video to hello@liagriffith.com? Thanks!
Is there a cover sheet that we can print out like some of your other classes?
Not for this maker workshop. We only do them for the master classes.
Hi, I would really love to continue with this class, but I can’t access the next video tutorial. Was it decided not to continue after August 31st for annual members? If so, is there another video tutorial similar to the Magnolia, I can follow? Or is it coming back closer to Christmas?
Thank you.
Hi Lynne! The class is available for annual members. Make sure you’re signed in and enrolled, and you will have access to the videos.
Thank you so much.
Please bring back this class! Need to finish and would love to have this in October!!!
We are keeping it for annual members, but it just might make a comeback before the holidays… 😉
Will definitely try these. Thanks
Dear Lia and Emily,
I’ve just watched magnolia Flower workshop (siting here in Greater London) and am so inspired!! Thank you. I have the papers here with me, and am eager to give it a go! -cathy
I’m so glad we could inspire you, Cathy! Happy Christmas crafting 🙂
I just read your email that you are now keeping the Christmas projects available for members! Thank you, I will be excited to complete these closer to the season!
Yes! You all asked, we listened 😉
Thank you SO much
I love this giant very much 💓💓💓💓💓
I think it was in one of the Spring classes that you mentioned having a workshop on Bridal bouquets and crowns. Is that still in the plans? If so, when? I really need this in September or early October.
I’ve loved all of your classes and workshops! Keep them coming.
We are still planning on this, but it won’t be ready until next year 🙂
Hey Emily and Lia, I know you say any color we choose will be fine but I cut my Poinsettia leaves out of the spearmint color not realizing the medium green would look more natural. I know now why I ran short of that color but ordered more. My question is would the spearmint color look better with a white poinsettia? I would recut the medium color if so needed for my red one. Thanks Cheryl
It is just to me your opinion matters
You could certainly use the Spearmint leaves with a white poinsettia! You could add some color to it to dull the bright green color a bit. It really does come down to personal preference – I think most of our greens would look lovely as leaves 🙂
Thank you, I appreciate your reply. I guess I did it that way because the color matched the template. Everyone says after my eye surgery’s colors will be brighter and I’ll see so much clearer. First eye is next Wednesday, but I’m loving the frosted paper a lot. I’ll catch up. I have my Christmas tree colors cut already as well. I’m going to cut some medium color out for my red Poinsettia. You are so sweet and BOO BOO’s are ok. Soon I’ll be able to work on some monthly flowers. I’m loving these classes. My husband says he hasn’t seen me this happy in a while.
Wishing you a speedy recovery!
Thank you so much. You guy’s have become my family.
That is incredibly sweet and means so much to all of us!
Will you be keeping this up beyond the end of August for members? I loved this and Christmas is my favorite holiday.
We’ll likely bring it back early if there’s enough interest! 🙂
I would love that too. I will likely want to make them in November / December and be able to watch again and follow the instructions as a total beginner.
I agree. I am a teacher and my time is more limited now. Please bring this back in November.
I,m really sorry but could you reiterate the times/days for the lessons. I can convert to GMT (Slight stroke keeps me muddled) Thank you.
The live was yesterday, but the videos are all available now to watch and make along!
Where do I find the replays of today’s Beginners Crepe Christmas Classes?
https://liagriffith.com/craft-academy/crepe-paper-christmas/lessons/video-poinsettia-plant/ 🙂
I received my supplies today and I am so excited to learn how to make these beautiful crepe paper projects.
I’m so glad you will join us!
Can’t wait until Friday what time does it start in the UK please xxx
It’s going to be fun! I’m not sure about the time zone change, so I would suggest googling it 🙂
Can’t wait to do this project.
Stretching the heavy crepe makes it thinner. Will that interfere with the leaves after assembling them? I know in the Master Class we ruffled them. I hope I haven’t stretched to much. I’ve used up the Spearmint color but awaiting new order.
If you followed along with the video then you should be fine 🙂
So glad, Thank you. my order is on the way. Continuing with other colors. So excited at how much I’ve learned from you.
I can’t join on Friday, but excited to watch & start on Saturday!
Perfect!
Just getting started on my Christmas crafting and have done a little with crepe paper . Looking forward to learning more.
Is this free class
It’s free for a limited time, until August 31, 2021 🙂
Looking forward to this class! This will be my intro to crafting with crepe paper. Have all my supplies lined up. Thank you for the opportunity.
I’m so glad you’ll join us!
Looking forward to thse .Thanks
I know these classes will start at 9AM on July 30 but do you have any idea how long the live sessions will go…is it expected all morning, or all day? I’m trying to block out my work calendar so I can attend 🙂
We anticipate finishing up by 1pm PDT! So glad you can join us 🙂
Thank you! I’m getting ready… have most pieces cut! ❤🎄 Fun to work on it while watching Christmas in July Hallmark movies 🤣
So excite, can’t wait!

Looking forward for anything and everything Christmas theme. My favorite time of the year.
Mine, too 😉
So excited for this! I made Lia’s magnolia wreath at Christmas time and gave them as gifts to much applause.
Love hearing that! I’m so glad you’ll join us 🙂
Will the Silhouette 2 cut crepe paper?
No, the only machines that will cut crepe paper are those with a rotary blade. Right now that is the Cricut Maker and the Silhouette Cameo 4.
Thank you soooo much for the workshop!!
I can’t wait to start make all of them!!
Yay 🙂
Happy to be part of this workshop.
Hi, at what time is the workshop be?
I’m getting ready for this
We will send an email announcing the times as soon as they are scheduled!
I’m so excited about these projects…love Christmas and crepe paper flowers! 🥰🎄
Yay! 🙂
Gracias por su invitación.
I am excited about all 4 of these projects!
I am very interested in using my Maker to cut crepe paper.
This is so cool, Thanks Lia
Christmas is my favorite holiday. I’m so glad you decided to offer this. I already ordered my supplies and I can’t wait to get started. Thank you so much Lia.
I’m so glad you’ll join us!
I am signed up for the Frosted Paper Flowers Master Class beginning Aug 1.
Will this class be doable since they dates coincide? I don’t want to feel overwhelmed!
Well it will depend on how many projects you like to have going at one time 🙂 The Crepe Paper Christmas workshop includes fairly beginner level projects, and you have a month to view videos,. However there’s a good chance we will bring it back in the fall/holiday time if there is enough interest. The Frosted Paper Master Class videos will be available until the end of October.
OOh my supplies landed yesterday, cant wait!
Yay!
OOOh, can’t wait!!! I really love the cone trees and can’t wait to see how to put them together! Thank you to EVERYONE at Lia Griffith for your hard work, I TRULY appreciate it!
They’re so easy and fun!! I’m glad you’ll join us 🙂
Can’t wait! Just bought the Christmas pack and should be here tomorrow!
Whoo hoo!
Thanks I look forward to the course.
Hi – I just bought the craft pack for this class. Do we need to register for the class (I didn’t see a registration form) or just come back here to the video on July 30th?
No registration required! Come on back on the 30th 🙂
I have a Cricut Explorer 2, will I be able to use it or is this just for the Maker?
Unfortunately the only machines that will cut crepe paper are the Circut Maker and the Silhouette Cameo 4 because they both have rotary blades.
I’m so excited.
We are, too!
Sounds like fun! Thank you.
I am still scared to use my scan and cut so any help I can get I would be very grateful
Hi Jacqui! Unfortunately I don’t believe you will be able to use the Scan N Cut for this, as you need a machine with a rotary blade to cut crepe (the Cricut Maker and Silhouette Cameo 4).
I am new to the crepe paper world but I would like to try this class. Very excited!
Yes please join us!
Anxious to get the supplies in for this class and get them cut while I have a few open days coming up before the class.
Don’t forget you’ll have access to the workshop replay after the live recording 🙂
Thanks I see they are now listed!
this looks very exciting, can’t wait to see how this works out.
We have a fun day of crafting planned for you!
I am so excited to see that you are offering this workshop. This year my plan is to make crepe paper decorations for our Christmas tree and this workshop will help me immensely.
Great timing!! 🙂
