Fir trees hold a special place in Christmas traditions around the world, symbolizing eternal life and renewal. The use of evergreens dates back to ancient times when people would decorate their homes with branches during the winter solstice to celebrate the return of the sun. Today, fir trees are often associated with Christmas, representing hope and joy during the darkest months of the year.
Let's talk about the fun part — putting it all together. This project gives you a chance to play around with crepe paper in all its glory. Shape your branches to perfection and mix up your greens for some depth and personality. Feeling a little fancy? Add a sprinkle of glitter for a sparkly, snow-dusted look. This is your chance to get creative and make something truly special.
Once your beautiful Crepe Paper Fir Branches are all done, it's time to show them off! Pop them in a cute vase for a fabulous centerpiece, or use them to jazz up your holiday table. You could even intertwine them with fairy lights for that magical glow or add them to a festive wreath.
However you choose to style them, be sure to let us see. You can upload your pics to our crafters' community or tag us on Instagram with #MadeWithLia. here

Hi there
I saw Lia on Hobbymaker in the UK and was inspired to buy her book Crepe Paper Flowers. On the front of the book it says that it contains printable pdfs and SVG files but when I type in the link it is not found and it looks like you have to be a member. Can you confirm if this is the case?
Hi Tina, you do not need to be a member to access the SVGs in the book. I am in EU currently so I can not look at the book and confirm that page, but, there is a code in your book in the first section where it talks about SVG files. There is also the URL written the book which is this: https://liagriffith.com/crepepaperflowers/
Thanks for coming back to me Lia and the link attached now seems to work – I have joined as a member in any event as I am really interested in the other projects you do as well 🙂
Wonderful! And welcome!
