Become a MemberI am super-excited to announce that I will be launching my own crepe paper line with German paper company Werola later this year! We are developing a line of extra fine crepe papers in an on-trend palette, inspired by nature and created specifically for exquisite crafting. I cannot wait to share it with you guys and begin showing you how to create stunning handmade flowers, home decor goods and more with this one-of-a-kind craft material – bring on the crepe paper revival! To celebrate this exciting partnership I got back to my roots by designing and making a new paper dress with crepe!
Long term fans will know that I design and make paper dresses now and then! It’s something that I love to do, it’s definitely challenging but oh-so-satisfying! This growing little blog of mine has taken up all of my creative time in recent years, but for 2016 I made a promise to myself to design another paper dress or two. Embarking on a crepe paper revival with Werola gave me the opportunity to do just that, and I am loving being back in the saddle! Over the course of a weekend, I cut, twisted, stretched and glued glorious crepe papers until my heart was content! After around 20 hours, I had created a full-sized wearable paper dress out of beautiful German crepe paper, and this sneak peek is the end result – more pics and info to follow but if you can’t wait, you can see more on my Facebook page!
No wedding gown is complete without a bridal bouquet and so it was only fitting that I also create a crepe paper flower bouquet to compliment this pretty dress. Made in a selection of soft yellow, blush pink and metallic copper this crepe paper flower bouquet can be made at home with a little patience, a touch of creativity and our printable flower pattern below! For more news and information on my upcoming crepe paper line, follow us on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram. We’ll see you there! ~ Lia

Hi,
Is an SVG file available for this arrangement? Thanks
Hi Jennifer! We have added an SVG file for this project 🙂
Hi Lia! I’m so excited to make some of your beautiful flowers for a client”s wedding. Could you please tell me where I could purchase your line of crepe papers?
Hi Sue! They’ll be available in July on Amazon– we are patiently waiting for the confirmation and link to the shop page!
Do I need to resize the pattern when I print?
You shouldn’t need to! Best of luck 🙂
I stumbled across your site via Pinterest when looking for paper flower tutorials for my wedding and I’m so excited to use your patterns! I have a question, when I clicked through to the Carte Fini site through another post, I saw there are different paper weights and wasn’t sure what is best. Of course, now I see you’ll be launching your own line so I might be waiting for that… Will there be online ordering for your line? Thanks!
Yes, you will be able to order online in May. Congrats on your upcoming wedding:-)
This is absolutely stunning and I will be making it for my wedding bouquet! Cant wait for your paper line to come out! I would love to see a tutorial perhaps on smaller bridesmaids type bouquets and especially more about how to arrange paper flowers
So Lia
I worked on this bouquet over the weekend, haven’t finished, but I got about 5 flowers done. I posted the first 3 or 4 on Instagram.

They are SOOOOO gorgeous!!!! You are becoming an expert!
I love this. I did see on one of your flowers somewhere you made a bouquet but you never showed how to wrap the stems for the bouquet with the ribbon for the bride to hold. I’m making these for a wedding in April and don’t know how to go about doing this. Any help Please would be appreciated.
Mardi
This is a good idea Mardi! I will put that on our list of posts. . . wrapping the stems for a bouquet. 😉
This is gorgeous! My daughter is getting married late summer. Are we going to be able to buy our supplies from you before them? If not, any suggestions on where to get the materials?
thanks so much!
Hi Jane and congratulations on your daughter’s wedding. We are launching the crepe paper line in mid May so you should have enough time to make the flowers. We are also going to be doing some video tutorials to go along with the new crepe.
