I have bought this book and it is beautiful. However, I’m not sure how I can download the SVG Files. I have the ScanNCut rather than the machines which your book was written for. Would this cause a problem?
Hi Ruth,
You will need to download the SVG files to your desktop first then upload them to the ScanNCut software. We do not have experience using the ScanNCut beyond this, however I found a great post on how to use SVG files with the ScanNCut! http://svgcuts.com/blog/2017/10/16/how-do-you-cut-svg-files-with-a-brother-scanncut-machine/
Hi! I love this book, the crafts are beautiful and inspiring. I have a question about the Gerbera Daisies. There are several types of papers listed for them two from Paper Papers (Text Weight Rose Quartz and Paper Papers Text Weight Ice Gold) and four from Cricut (Pearl Paper Sunshine, Cricut Pearl Paper Moss, Cricut Pearl Paper Forest, Cricut Pearl Paper Coral).
Some of the Cricut papers are hard to find, can you recommend similar colors that I can get from Paper Papers?
Thanks!
So glad you’re loving the book, Nikki! I think Cricut has stopped selling their pearl paper, and the similar papers we’d suggest at Paper Papers have been discontinued. BUT we just came out with our own 12×12 frosted paper that will work (https://shopliagriffith.com/product-category/frosted-craft-paper/)! The Conifer pack is a great replacement for the Moss and Forest, and the Citrus pack has a pretty orange/coral and the yellow (and a white similar to Ice Gold). The Melon pack has a great pink similar to Rose Quartz.
Hi Lia,
i have the book in my hands and its beautiful , but i cant find where download de svg files.
Page 12 has the instructions 🙂
Hi Lia,
Love both of your books. They are so detailed that even I can follow. Thank you for telling us how to make the flowers look more real by a little paint, chalk and curling. I found you through Melody Lane, she is so special and motivational. Now that I have had a chance to check out your site you have that same quality that is perfect for a crafter like me. The first book had me making flowers for a wedding, after I filled my home with arrangements. I have another wedding to photograph coming up and the bride wants her bouquet and the brides maids to match the dresses, we went over the colors & came up with awesome arrangements that will suit everyone.
Again thank you for all the detailed instructions. Your books will always be in my library 🙂
Thank you for your feedback Sandie, I’m so glad to hear the books & projects bring you so much joy 🙂
Hi, I bought this book when it came out and I am just now getting around to making the lei. I do not see the small flower svg. It looks like there was an update that included the missing stamen but not the small flower with round edges. Am I missing something? Thank you.
Oh Angela, thank you for pointing this out! The wrong file was uploaded– but the correct one is available now.
Hello there! I’ve just purchased the book.. finally downloaded the files onto my computer. I just want to know if i can download them to my iPad? I use the cricut app on my iPad and wanted to keep the files there, is that possible?
Thanks
Hi Cynthia! So excited you can join us in making the projects with the book. You can use your computer to upload all of the SVG projects into your Design Space software. Once that is complete, you can see them on your iPad app under your personal uploads. Then you should be set! Let us know if this works for you or if you have any other questions.
I have purchased the book Cutting Machine Crafts however, I am unable to download the files. I have followed the instructions on page 12. Where do you enter the code? Thanks
Hi! The URL listed on page 12 is a password protected page. You will be prompted to enter the code as soon as you’re on the page.
Just got my book today . I go to the site listed on page 12 to get the designs . Feeling a little dumb for asking but where are the files on the site ? I can not find anyplace to put the code that is in my book to download these designs . I guess I need a few more detail instructions .
Hi Dawn! Page 12 lists the URL you need to go to: http://www.liagriffith.com/cuttingmachinecrafts. You’ll be prompted there to enter the code. Once on the page, you click the 3 different category photos to download the files.
Just got my book today. I cannot wait to get started on some of the projects in the book. So pretty! Love the detailed pictures and instructions. Very excited!
Yay! We’re so happy to hear it. Have fun!
What am I missing? Just got my book today and I cannot figure out how to get the SVG files that come with the book. Is there a link in there somewhere that I’m missing?
Check out page 12 for instructions 🙂
I bought the book today in Germany, but can I not download the SVG files as described on page 12. Can you help me, please? Thank you very much.
Oh no! Can you email hello@liagriffith.com with more details? We’ll look into this for you.
Love the book and look forward to making many of the projects. I can’t find frosted paper in the UK is this what we call pearlescent?
Hi Denise! Yes we’ve heard it’s called pearlescent or pearlised 🙂
I love the book, but I noticed on the peony the svg file does not include the back and leaves of the flower, where can I get that
Thank you for letting us know! The correct file has been uploaded.
Great Thanks !!
I am a member and I want to know if everything in the book is on your website. Or are there projects that are exclusively in the book?
Hi! There are some versions of the book projects on the site already, but there are also plenty of exclusives. The book also has more in depth tutorials and materials, and new, beautiful photography 🙂
Love the book
Yay so glad to hear it!! Thank you for your support 🙂
