DIY Tic Tac Toe BoardAn Adorable Homemade Tic Tac Toe Set

This is an idea that we have had on our list for a while, but are just now getting around to bringing it to life. We love making DIY toys. Not only is it a way to save a bit of money for birthday or holiday gifts, but it is also a perfect way to customize the toys to fit exactly what your kids would like! Tic tac toe is a classic kid’s game that will never go out of style, and making a DIY tic tac toe board is a great activity for any age. Tips

This project certainly takes more time and effort than many of our other projects on the site, but the process is straightforward and the result is well worth it. Find the printable instructions and photo tutorials below for crafting the DIY tic tac toe board, bugs and carrying bag. When you are picking out your materials, personalize this game set with fabric in your kids’ favorite colors! We recommend printing the bug template onto cardstock rather than copy paper to make tracing the shape a bit easier. If you aren’t surprising your kids with this as a gift, you can enlist their help in choosing and cutting the fabric.
