We just love projects like these felt ball animals. Sure, they're super cute, but even more impressive? They are so incredibly easy to make. This Felt Ball Penguin and Polar Bear is a great project for you and your kiddos as it requires very few materials, and everything more or less comes together with tacky glue. If you'd like to use your cutting machine for the smaller details, feel free, but your handy dandy detail scissors will work too. Once you’re ready, gather the rest of your materials and take a look at the tutorial below.
Crafted from our felt wool balls in cotton and charcoal, our Felt Ball Penguin and Polar Bear come together with ease and simple yet effective details. You'll cut fuzzy ears, wings, faces, and snouts with corresponding colors of soft wool felt. Lastly, fasten on 3mm craft eyes to create the cutest winter friends around! And, if you're feeling really crafty, take your creativity a step further. Fashion a stylish hat or some cute earmuffs for these adorable arctic pals.
Once complete, this Felt Ball Penguin and Polar Bear transform into the most adorable tree ornaments on this side of the North Pole using a bit of red embroidery floss.
