VIDEO: Flower Embroidery
For our Spring Blooms summit, we are showing you how to make different types of flowers using a variety of crafting supplies and techniques. So far we’ve covered cardstock and felt, and now we are moving on to our next favorite material! Since we’ve been coming up with new embroidery projects every month, we had to include these mix and match flower embroidery templates that Emily designed.
You can learn how to embroider these flowers by watching our workshop below. Make sure to also check out our full supplies list, and we have a photo tutorial for you as well.

If you’ve been wanting to learn how to embroider flowers, this DIY project is perfect for you. Plus there is plenty of room to get creative! Our flower embroidery template includes a few different designs you can stitch onto any fabric. And you’re welcome to place them however you want and use whatever thread you prefer.
As you can see in our photos here, Emily stitched these flowers onto some overalls that would be really cute to wear during spring or summertime. During our workshop, you will see how she uses the Sulky Stick N Stitch, which makes it really easy to embroider patterns onto clothing, tote bags, and more.

This is great- I waited until on a trip because embroidery is so portable. I’ve been doing a denim jacket and I love the mix and match concept. It would be fun to see more mix and match- maybe a Christmas scandi series. Anyway- great series and teaching.
I will put that on the list for sure! Maybe we can add it to the Christmas summit!
Lia Where did you get the canvas tote with the outside pocket that was in the video?
Thank you Patricia Keane
We have it in our shop! It is one of my favorite totes. Perfect for craft project or my lunch. I just realized that the photo does not show the pocket. There is one on one side. https://feltpaperscissors.com/product/canvas-bag/
