From early afternoon through to late evening there seems to be a constant stream of dessert lovers lining up to sample the latest flavors on offer. Last summer I realized that those wanting to purchase a whole pint (or two!) of ice cream get to jump the queue, which is great because not only do I get to nip in and out of the store in less than five minutes, it also means I get to enjoy more than one helping of my favorite frozen treat at home – yummy! Buying my fave ice cream by the pint also gave me the idea to hold an ice cream social party this summer. What better way to enjoy the delicious ice creams from our local maker than by throwing a little garden party at home?
