So today I’m sharing my updated video on how to tie the perfect bow. It is something my mom taught me years ago and I am forever grateful. There are several different ways to tie a bow, but this method is so simple and works every time. The trick to keeping your bow straight is in how you wrap the center knot around your first loop. If you wrap under the loop, your bow will be crooked. If you wrap over the top of the loop, it will always be straight – simple! The very first video I shot showing this technique was a little speedy and so we have shot a new, less quick video which I am sharing today. I do suggest you watch it through a few times to get the gist: TOP OVER TOP. That is the secret sauce!
