Become a MemberWe are adding a little tropical vibe to our summer in the next few weeks with a DIY Hawaiian Luau Party. First up are our printable Luau Party Invitations, perfect for getting the gang together. These invitations, in three colorways, can be used for a birthday party, summer brunch, an anniversary party, kids party or shower. Over the coming weeks we will be sharing more DIY party ideas, all inspired by the fresh, vibrant colors of the Hawaiian islands so these invitations are the perfect starting point for creating your own DIY Luau Party. You can customize your Luau Party invitations by first downloading the free fonts Josefin Slab and Smoothie Shop to your computer. Next, download our Luau Party Invitation PDF below and when you open it in Adobe Acrobat or Reader you will see that the text boxes are highlighted. Simply write over the existing text with your own details and the invitations will be ready to print – so very simple! Print onto card stock paper, trim to size and you are good to go. If you would like the coordinating envelopes you can use either the SVG file below if you have a cutting machine, or download the A7 envelope PDF below if you want to trim by hand. Simply download and print onto a 11 x 8.5 inch metallic paper of your choice and cut along the solid lines. Score and fold along the dotted lines and you have yourself a gorgeous handmade envelope. We secured ours at the back using an adhesive roller but you can use pretty stickers if you have any in your craft stash that would work well. Check back over the coming days for our mini pineapple party decor (see a sneak peek here in the photos), a tasty Luau drink recipe and our fab palm tree decoration tutorial. You can find our crepe paper hibiscus pattern and tutorial also in these photos, in this post. Enjoy! ~ Lia

Hi Lia, on the invitation bright when editing the title, the alignment of the words are not centered on the page but flushed up which ends up the word is cut on the upper part. Can you take a look please. My daughter is celebrating her 16th doing a tropical party. Thank you in advance.
Hi Melody! Can you send a screenshot of the problem you’re having to hello@liagriffith.com? The PDF seems to be working fine on our end.
i absolutely love this! I had a question though, I’m kind of in a bind with planning my daughters first birthday party. The person who was supposed to make her invites disappeared so I was going to do it myself. I’m in the process of moving so haven’t had time to start till now. Is there any chance you could make this in a landscape format (the one with the hot pink envelope in it) so that I can add a picture of my daughter? It would be MORE then appreciated! Thank you
Best of luck with the move! Unfortunately we are not doing any custom orders, there are just not enough hours in the day to get to everything:(
