Make a Paper Feather Garland with Glittering Tips
This Christmas, as you saw in my Handcrafted Holidays video, I decorated my tree with a bird theme in a variety of gold and silver tones. The paper feathers are part of the detail of the tree and to add a little extra bling, I used some pretty gold and silver glitter on the tips of my paper feather ornaments. The feathers are so pretty that today I made this feather garland to coordinate with the tree. I tested several methods and the one that works best is what I am going to share with you today which is using a craft spray glue. Below is the step-by-step tutorial as well as the PDF pattern and the Silhouette pattern for these feathers. This just gorgeous! Do you glue the feathers in place on the string, or are they hanging loosely?

So many uses for paper feathers! The garland is one of my favorites too.
This is a fantastic idea for decorating a tree. They’re so versatile and gorgeous. Love glitter on ends of feathers. How many ways can we use these, it’s incredible.

Thank you so much for the silhouette file for the feathers! My daughter and I have a special fondness of feathers. We often exchange them in photos as we see them randomly in our day. I’m off to make a garland for each of us!
