New Year’s Eve Party Props (updated for 2021)
Razzle and Dazzle Your Way into a New Year
If you are ringing in the New Year with friends and family, then our DIY New Year’s Eve party decorations set is the perfect download to prep for the ultimate celebration. Inspired by the Meri Meri set that recently sold out at Urban Outfitters, we created our own version for those who are planning to party in style! This DIY download includes several pretty star shapes, both in solid and cut out designs. These stars are great for making a garland or two, or can be used on your table as confetti. Attach them to cocktail sticks as cake toppers or simply decorate a window, wall or ceiling. There is printable “Happy New Year” text which can also be used to make a garland and the all important numbers 2016!

how can I update this for 2017?
Hi Rhonda, unfortunately these are not editable. Everything can be used other than the 2016 🙂
How big is the back drop? How large are the letters and numbers? I love this!!
Karin
The numbers are about 3 inches wide each, and the letters are about 2 inches wide. All together, the “happy new year” phrase is a between 2 and 2 1/2 feet wide, but you could always place the words a little farther apart depending on what size you want!
only for teens? would it be terribly weird if I walked around on NY Eve with that crown on my head?
Not at all!! It is absolutely great for all ages! I only said “for teens” because it has a nice youthful feel 😉
