Goodies You Can't Google
You've found a member-exclusive project. But for less than the price of a fancy coffee... You'll get instant access to this and over 2,000 other premium projects inside the Lia Griffith membership!
Become a MemberThis project includes four different herb designs that you can cut out and use to create your paper herb wreath. Because the designs are intricate and there are quite a few pieces to cut to fill out your wreath, we recommend using a cutting machine with our SVG file. However, you can always use detail scissors and our template to cut your wreath pieces by hand.
Crafting tips: When arranging your paper herb wreath, remember to lay all of your pieces in the same direction. For a fuller, more natural look, use all of the different herb shapes in our pattern and place them randomly.

Brother dx scan and cut wants to resize all your files as it says they are larger than mat. Then they are too small, Is there any way around this prob lem? Thanks for any advise, Rosella
Hi! Unfortunately we are not familiar with the software Brother uses. You may want to reach out to their customer service team.
Hello, I am new to paper crafts and looking to purchase a cutting machine. Has there been any feedback on using the Brother Scan and Cut machine for importing the SVG cut files for the paper crafting projects. It appears to be an alternative to Cricut or Silhouette. Any feedback would be appreciated.
Hi Rita! Unfortunately we can’t give you any first hand knowledge of the Brother cutting machine. We do have a helpful video on what to consider though! https://liagriffith.com/craft-academy/11-things-to-consider-before-buying-a-cutting-machine/
In the video you show what looks like 3 different paper colors but only two are listed. Also can you tell me how n my any of each shape you cut out? I can’t tell from the video.
Hi Linda! I just updated the post with the correct links to the 2 different metallic papers we used (in addition to the vellum). We cut 5 pages of each color paper– you can use more or less depending on how full you want your wreath to look!
There’s a random cut at the bottom of the list of cuts. I found it and clicked on the eye to hide it and that solved the problem. Although I have a few rounds with the first two cut in half. Lia, I can send you a screen shot to show you if you want.
Thank you for letting us know! I just fixed the SVG.
Love this wreth – and the black holding-stand. Where can I buy that?
Kind regards from Linda

Love this new wreath! When I was cutting out the stems with my Cricut iI noticed that they were pretty large so I sized them down to about 6 inches but when the Cricut cut them it cut one of them in half. So I re downloaded SVG file from your site but they were still too large and it cut one of them in half. Is this a problem on my end?
I double-checked the SVG file and am not seeing any errors. Does everything look normal on your screen when you go to cut the project? If not you can send a screenshot of what you’re seeing, or a photo of the piece that’s being cut to hello@liagriffith.com and we can look into this!
