Become a MemberThis little wedding favor is a perfect way to personalize a very useful gift for your wedding guests. And. . . they are very affordable! The little matchbox covers read “The Perfect Match” on one side and have your Wedding date and initials on the other. We are sharing three different designs today – all of which are customizable by downloading the free fonts Callie Hand, Vast Shadow and Klinic first. The wildflower design around the edge of our matchbox covers is the same as that used in the personalized thank you cards, the table numbers and the gorgeous printable wedding invitations. Once you have edited the PDF with your own details you can then print as many matchbox covers as you need onto full sheet label paper, trim them to size and stick them onto mini matchboxes – the perfect wedding favor! I find my Diamond brand matchboxes at my local grocery or drug store that sell in a pack of 10 for a dollar. Another tip for the printing is to have them printed at your local FedEx Office or office supply store that offers laser printing. It will give you a crisp finish that looks professional. Not only are these little boxes the perfect wedding favor, you can also use them for your bridal shower or anniversary parties. Enjoy! ~ Lia

Hi Lia,
I am very interested in your matchbox labels. I would really like to customize each matchbox as the guest’s table assignment–so each individual matchbox would have a guest name and table number and then on the back…I was hoping that it could read “let’s get lit!” Would this be a PDF that you could customize for me? I can send you a link of what I would ideally like it to look like via email once we communicate. Thanks!
Thanks for the comment! Unfortunately we are unavailable for custom design work. You could probably find a talented designer on Etsy who can get the job done for you!
What size label do I print these on?
The PDF is set up to print on 8.5×11 full sheet labels 🙂
How come the font in the downloadable link has a different font than the one in the picture. How do I go about changing it?
You will need to download the two free fonts to have it display correctly. They are called Vast Shadow and Klinic which are linked to in our post above.
Thank you for your response.
Do I need to pay for Adobe Acrobat Pro because I am unable to change the font for this PDF even after saving it to my desktop. Is there any information on your site on the process of changing the font. My fiance really love this idea and looking forward to making them for our wedding!
Unfortunately because of Acrobat’s limitations and how the PDF is set up, you cannot change the font/size/color to something other than what is already designed. If you download the free fonts from the post, it should automatically change how the file is displayed.
I am having the same issue. I downloaded the fonts and everytime I open the file, the fonts are not what’s pictured. Anyone else find a solution?
Hi Leslie! Once you download and install the fonts on your computer, they should appear correctly in the PDF. Make sure you open the PDF in Adobe, and not in your web browser (some fonts just won’t show up properly in a web browser).
I was having the same problem, specifically with the “a perfect match” text. The Klinic font you have linked above doesn’t seem to be the correct font. It should be (I think?) the Callie hand font that you have a download link to in the post on printable wedding invitations of the same style. I downloaded that one and now everything looks great. Thanks!
Thank you for catching that! Yes the third font is Callie Hand– I have updated the post with this link 🙂
The bottom left is missing the word “match”?? is that just on mine?
Thank you for catching that! I just uploaded a new PDF 🙂
Thank you for these fantastic gifts to make. Once again a great and gracious post!!!
Thank you for your sweet comment!
I love it, going to use them for my daughter’s birthday party!
That is a great idea! You can use the initials and date of both sides. 😉
