When thinking about gifts for any occasion, sometimes it’s best to start with a good old-fashioned greeting card. For Father’s Day this year, we have created a camp-inspired collection of Father’s Day projects with the help of our illustrator friend Laurel Autumn. If your father loves the outdoors, this collection could be a wonderful way to show your appreciation for all that he does. Pick out one of our printable Father’s Day cards, then use this inspiration to put together a gift to pair with it.
Designs and Printing Instructions
First, choose which card you would like to print. There are 5 designs in total. Three are A7 size while the other two are square 5×5 cards. There is even one for Grandpa if he will be celebrating with you!
Once you pick your card, select that individual page to print onto white cardstock. We used our Canon PIXMA TS8020 printer to print the cards for our Father’s Day gifts. To get the straightest lines possible when we trim our cards, we always use a paper cutter. If you don’t have one, you should be able to use one free of charge at any print shop or office supply store.
Envelopes and Liners
If you are popping these printable Father’s Day cards into the mail, you’ll want to use a nice envelope. For the A7 cards, head down to your local stationery store for a matching envelope. Or find something from our favorite online resource PaperPapers. Then print one of our coordinating envelope liners and glue it to the inside of the envelope.
Because our 5×5 card is a more unique size, we created a special printable envelope to go with it, which includes an editable address label. Customize the text by downloading and installing the free font Aleo Bold, then print onto regular text weight paper. Note that you won’t be able to send these with a regular stamp. You can either stick it into another A7 envelope, or head to your post office for special postage.
