Become a MemberThis is our final (and 11th) Fourth of July post for this year. We have had such a great time designing for this celebration that as with most holidays, by the time they arrive it seems we get to enjoy the party a second time. You can see our July 4 inspirations and printable roundup right here. Today it is all about the details. For those of you who have your own fire crackers and sparklers, it is fun to have festive matchboxes for your guests and we are here to make sure you have what you need. These printable labels are ready for you in the download below. Simply, print them onto full sheet label paper, trim and attach to your mini matchboxes. I usually find my boxes at my grocery store where they sell them in packs of 10 for around a dollar. To add to the look we are also including a jar label for your display. With this we wish you all a Happy Fourth of July. Be safe and enjoy! ~ Lia

Lia, I LOVE the matchbox labels so much! I downloaded them, bought the match boxes (“diamond” brand) at my grocery store which came in 10 boxes per pkg.as you said. BUT, the labels are too small—my boxes are 2ins wide by 1 3/8ins tall which I thought was the standard size. Am I doing something wrong or is there a way to make the labels larger to fit my boxes??? Thanks so much for any help you can give me cause I really want to use them—they are so darn cute!
Sometimes the PDF print defaults to “fit to page” which makes the print smaller. So annoying. double check that option and select 100%. This should do the trick.
Thank you! I will try that!!!
