VIDEO: Felt Ball Cherry Earring & Keychain
Cherrific!
Did you know July 16th is National Cherry Day? I can’t imagine a more perfect way to celebrate this delightful summer fruit than with a new addition to our jewelry collection. For this month’s Craft Camp, Emily is going to show you how to make these cheerful, felt ball cherry earrings and keychain.
You can use whatever materials, colors, and supplies you have on hand. I’ve also linked the specific items used for this project below.

The elements of this craft come together so easily and should take around 30 minutes to complete. Our easy-to-follow, step-by-step video is great for our younger makers but would work for anyone. Gift a pair of these sweet cherry earrings to your BFF, or clip the keychain to your bag for a cool summer look.
To form the cherries on these earrings, Emily used our 1cm felt balls in pomegranate and our 2cm felt balls in coral for the keychain. Felt and embroidery floss in summery shades of green create the stem and leaves, making for a simple but stylish craft. You can use the template we've provided to create your leaves or free-hand them if you'd like.
This project does require the use of an embroidery needle, wire cutters, and thread snips. If you're new to working with these tools, ask an adult for help before you get started.
