Become a MemberWe have been fully immersed in citrus season – all those yummy clementines, lemons and limes have inspired a few of our projects recently! And to round off our collection of lemon flavored crafts we are sharing this simple watercolor iron-on for a tea towel (or two!). Using a pretty watercolor design in warm coral, orange and yellow tones, our printable iron-on makes a great gift for a foody friend or family member.
Begin by downloading the PDF below and print onto printable iron-on using an inkjet printer – shop this project below! Place the transfer along the short edge of your chosen kitchen towel and press with a hot iron. Continue to press until the top layer of plastic begins to crinkle then peel that top layer away. We like to finish our iron-on transfers by pressing once more with a piece of fabric in between the transfer and the iron. Wash in warm water and air dry to keep your DIY dish towel looking lovely all year round!
Happy crafting friends. Head over to our Facebook, Twitter or Instagram pages to see what crafty goodness is coming out of the Lia Griffith studio next! See you there! ~ Lia

Lia this fruit towel printable is GORGEOUS! I’m going to start now to make them for Mother’s Day. It’ not that far away when you have as man projects as I do. Thank you Lia for always presenting a project that most of us can do. Young, old, handicapped or some of us like me moves at a slower pace due to illness. I have a feeling you keep this in mind when you create your designs. Thank you again for your gifts, that’s what it always feels like when I open your mail.
Thank you so much for your sweet comment!! It is wonderful to hear that you feel confident in attempting these projects! I do try to make them as accessible as possible 🙂 That is a great idea to use these as a Mother’s Day gift, you could even use the iron-on pattern to make a matching apron 😉
Now this design is just what I needed to perk me up, so pretty, bright and Spring looking. Can hardly wait to get tea towel fabric to make some for myself to replace many of my very old towels. Have had them for so long, Time to replace and what better to replace them with? Well, another gold star goes to Lia and her team. Love colors and citrus idea.
Better make myself a list for when we go to town on Wed. (payday for us after 5 weeks). We’re getting better all the time at making our groceries last and thank God for cheap gas. Need to find some quality felt to make some of the adorable felt critters you share with us all. Will keep myself busy and make some little gifts at same time. Happy week every body.
So glad you like the towels!! I am glad you can update your house with them. It was so fun for me to get back into some watercoloring! I was just playing around with watercolors a couple weeks ago and came up with this pattern. I love citrus too!
