Fathers_Day_Printable_CardFather’s Day is a little over 3 weeks away which may seem like a long way off but if you and the kiddos are planning on putting a little handcrafting time into your Father’s Day gifts then now is the time to start. Last week we began sharing our DIY Father’s Day projects – the super swanky printed dish cloth designs, the fun BBQ aprons, the beer glass labels and tags and that yummy Moscow Mule cocktail recipe. We also shared our Doneness Test poster for checking how well your meat is cooked – perfect for the BBQ King in your family. Today we wanted to share one of our first projects that is great for the kids to make for Daddy. The design – a super stylish shirt pocket with paper handkerchief is simple for the kids to cut and fold themselves. They can then write their own little message for Dad inside the handkerchief – how cute? Print the background, pocket template and handkerchief onto regular white card stock, trim, fold and glue the pocket in place – simple! We have also included a striped envelope liner which is designed to fit a standard A7 envelope. Our navy blue one was purchased at Paper Source and fits perfectly with the color palette of the card. Check back throughout this week for more fab DIY Father’s Day projects including a gorgeous felt and leather shaving bag and a cute monogrammed phone case – so much fun! See you later – Enjoy! ~ Lia
