Make Some Quick and Easy Ribbon Headbands
Happy Monday! I am writing you from snowy Salt Lake City where I am spending the first few days with Cricut and 99 other craft bloggers to hear about their new cutting machine announcement, then to attend the big Alt Summit through Friday. I will be posting the BIG Cricut announcement my Alt adventure on a lot on Instagram and a bit on Facebook, so follow me there to see what we are all up to.
This last Friday my daughter Emily was going through my ribbon drawer. I have a lot of ribbons. She suggested we make her some new headbands for her to wear to school this next term, so we pulled out some headband blanks (that I always keep handy in case I need to make a crown), the hot glue gun and we got to work. The ribbon section of my fabric store has so many gorgeous ribbons to choose from and you can make a pretty headband to coordinate with any outfit for just a few dollars. You can also find the beaded embellishments in the bridal section. Love it! I’m sharing my steps of how we make these colorful hair accessories below. The green headband is definitely a St. Patty’s Day must, don’t you think? Until tomorrow! ~ Lia

Kisses …Petonets!!
Thanks Anna! You are so sweet!
Love them all and your daughter looks quite fetching in them. She sure is a very pretty young lady. Nice to have a very artistic Mom. Love how they look, colors of ribbon are so pretty, I’m a color person, must have color around me. You must like it also as so many of your gorgeous creations have color in them.
Enjoy your time in SLC and at ALT, whatever that means. Happy week
Thanks! She is a cutie and very humble too. Love that girl! I do love color too. Use to paint every room a different color but am calming that down a bit. ALT or Alt Summit is a creative blogger convention, were all attendees (for the most part) have blogs about crafting, DIY, home decor, fashion or cooking. Lots of creativity!!
Very cute Lia! And I love how your daughter helps you π
She comes up with some of my best ideas too. It was her idea to do the ombre glitter on the last post. π
That’s great π
Thanks Lia!!! Will make for my granddaughters!
Perfect!
They are so cute! I’m going to make some for my baby girl. Thanks for the tutorial.
Make sure and get soft baby headbands for her too so they don’t poke her head.
