Become a MemberLavender harvesting season is here! After visiting the lavender farm a few weeks ago with my sister, I have been drying the buds for my favorite bath salt recipe. These homemade salts are my bath time go-to and they also make great gifts. To package my jars I have created three versions of French inspired kraft paper and hand lettered labels. Just download the PDF for these labels by using the button at the end of the post. Simply print them onto a full sheet label paper and trim. You can also use the designs as tags by printing the PDF onto a white card stock paper. As for my jars, the two smaller containers are Weck jars that are perfect for gift giving and the large apothecary jar is what I keep beside my bathtub. I found these Weck jars on Amazon. You can also find a good selection at Crate & Barrel and William Sonoma. For my homemade lavender bath salt recipe, just go to this post. Enjoy! ~ Lia

help i cannot find the labels to print nor the recipe for lavender salts
The link to the recipe is in the post (https://liagriffith.com/homemade-lavender-bath-salt/), and the download button is at the bottom of the post, under the last photo.
Your blog is just so fun! Thank you for all you and your team does! 🙂 I have one question about the fonts used on these. I am putting together a gift for a friend, and wanted to have a cohesive look on the card and some other things I am printing out for it. Is the font used for the “lavender” wording on the tags something you can share? Or direct me to where I can find it?
Thanks so much!!
Hi Stacey, thanks for your sweet comment! I’m happy to share the name of that font, it’s called Dear Sarah 🙂
Hi Lia,
I love this recipe for lavendar bath salts. I used to be able to print the labels for free. Are you offering those anymore?
Audra
We did have to switch to a membership program a few months back in order to continue crafting at a larger capacity. We do still have several templates that are free of charge if you browse the site! You can also check under the drop down menu “Freebies” 🙂
I am making this recipe for Christmas gifts. I love your blog. Where did you find the scoop? Thank you so much
I honestly do not remember where I picked that up!! If it wasn’t at Crate & Barrel, then it was definitely a store similar to it…
Wonderful idea! I can’t wait to make the lavender bath salts for my daughter in law for Christmas. Can you please share the black and white printable for the labels? Thanks so much. ?
Unfortunately we only designed these to be printed as kraft color
Hi Lia! I was a fan of your site and used these labels a while back. I really loved how cute they came out and your style! I bought everything to make them ( and a few others from your spa kit idea from before) but they only thing is the lavender gets stuck in the tub pretty bad after I use them.. Any suggestions on alternatives to the buds that can still have that natural lavender color within the epsom salt? Thanks!
Hi Rebecca, I actually put my salt in a muslin bag in the tub just so the lavender doesn’t get stuck in the tub afterwards. You can find the muslin bags on Amazon.
I love your work. Does the embossing on the jar lid affect the smoothness of the label once you put it on?
On the Weck jars the embossing is on the underside, so I am thankful they were smart about it. 😉
Hi Lia,
I LOVE your blog! So many lovely ideas and projects!
I am hosting a spa salt making party next week, and we are making your lavender bath salts for Christmas gifts! Is there a version of the labels that groups same size and shape labels together on whole sheets? We are making a LOT of salt, and several of us will be using only certain sizes of the labels. The whole sheet labels are so expensive to be wasting white space and printing labels we won’t use! I have used some of your beautiful labels before and found the files had whole sheets by size and shape. I can’t seem to find that file for this project–did I miss it?
Thanks in advance, and thanks for sharing your creativity!

How fun with a spa salt making party! Can I come:) This label was designed to fit as many different sizes jars as possible so I do not have this one by size:( Have fun and please share pictures with us at hello@liagriffith.com
I can’t wait to try this Homemade Lavender Bath salt idea. There’s an amazing lavender farm right around the corner, too! Thanks for sharing!!!
You are lucky to live around the corner from a lavender farm, I love photographing lavender fields. So pretty!
Just love it, so beautiful. Thank you for sharing this.
You are welcome Marie!
Absolutely loved your article on Lavender Bath salts! I always buy the product in the store but you have inspired me so I’m going to make a big batch and share with my FRIENDS! Can you send me the black/white version of the labels? Thanks so much!
I love to hear this! I am going to share a tutorial on making muslin bags for them for the people who have challenging drainage too. I know not everyone wants lavender buds in their pipes. Haha.
These labels are fantastic! I am making a big batch for my husband’s co-workers. It’s a pretty package and what girl doesn’t like to relax!? Thank you for sharing! By the way, would you mind emailing me the black and white version? I am not sure which paper I will use yet. Thanks in advance!
Sandra
That’s such a great idea! I will see if I still have that version.
THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Your labels+my gifts will put a smile on my friends faces 🙂
That is my biggest wish. 🙂
Thank you very much for your labels. They really helped me.
(You have beautiful webside, I’m enthusiastic!)
Wonderful! So glad to hear.
Hi Lia,
Thank you so much for sharing this very nice label! They are awesome! I found some foil labels from Target to use and wondered if I can use your black design printable version to see how it looks on it! Would you mind to share? They make great Christmas Gift!
Best Regards
Hannah
Sure, I just emailed them to you.
HI Lia Finally able to get back to your site so I could print out those incredible Lavender bath salt labels. I have some kraft paper so am printing them out on that and use the gray scale so as not to use up last of my color ink ,black is about out also, at least we get paid next Wed. Yeahoo, that stupid govt. thing has been taken care of, for now anyway,.
Thank you so much again for these wonderful labels. I was thinking of making some lavender bath salts for holiday gifts this year so the labels will be great. I’ll be scrounging for every nice jar I can find. If not I’ll buy some small ball jars to put them in. I’d love to buy some of the round weck jars but that green stuff is usually pretty scarce so will use the money to make the bath salts. Thx again for wonderful labels and every thing else you share with us.
I think these bath salts would looks so cute in a mason or ball jar too. You can have fun with the lid, maybe covering it with fabric and ribbon. If you want the printable without the kraft background, just let me know and I can send you the black design version.
The lavender bath salts labels are so nice, thanks so much for sharing these. I’ll have to come back to download as my pc is kinda slow or your site is super busy. I’ll try during the day maybe. Can hardly wait to put the labels on my real lavender bath salts. Going to look into the recipe to make my own.
We have a good size lavender festival in Palisade, CO during the summer. We got to go for first time this year. We live way on western side of valley and Palisade is on eastern side of valley. There are a few lavender farms in Palisade area also along with wineries and peaches. Pretty busy and popular agricultural area for Grand Junction, Co valley.
Wanted to buy some lavender but didn’t have any ready cash so will have to buy some another time.
Do you grow your own lavender or buy it?
Happy week
I LOVE my bath salts and find they are such a savings from what you buy pre-made. I use them at least once a week when I want to relax. I have grown some lavender, but found the most fragrant to be some I purchased on Amazon. They were food grade, so really clean and I bought them in bulk. (upcoming christmas gifts)
What an awesome idea! Very timely for me as well since I just went to a lavender farm last weekend! My lavender bundle is just about dry, so I’ll have to try this with some of it. Love the cute labels 🙂
I am thinking this will make great holiday presents too. 🙂
Just wonderful ! Thank you very much for the free printables. So beautiful !
Best regards, Synnöve
So happy you like them. 🙂
