Stylish Kitchen Labels
I loved giving these Olive Oil, Vinegar and Salt & Pepper grinders our own stamp of creativity. As part of our entry into Cricut’s Design Star Space competition we created these fresh yet classic text transfers to add a little individuality in our kitchen restyle. This is one of those projects that just wouldn’t be possible without the Cricut Explore so we were super excited to make it happen. (UPDATE: We have added even more labels for your kitchen pantry goods! Download them below.

Become a MemberWe picked up the lovely glass bottles in Crate and Barrel – they have lots of different sizes so you’re not bound by the text size I’m providing here. After sizing and cutting your text into your vinyl, pick out the pieces you don’t need using your weeder or scraping tool. Peel away the sticky side of your transfer sheet and carefully place it onto you text design. Rub it well to make sure it’s firmly stuck then lift up the transfer sheet – your vinyl word will now be on the transfer paper in mirror form.
Carefully line up your design on the bottle, we lay our bottle down flat for this part and used the grid on the transfer sheet for accuracy. Rub the transfer on, making sure you pay attention to all the edges – your thumbs and fingers are the best tool to use here! Peel off the transfer paper and you have yourself the first in a set of personalized kitchen bottles and grinders.
Follow the same process to make yourself a classic Menu board. The removable chalkboard sheet was a great little find from Cricut and it can be peeled off and moved number of times making it perfect for kitchen cabinets or walls without making a mess. Apply your vinyl text before sticking the chalkboard on the wall so you can apply more weight to rubbing the image on. Good luck! ~Lia

Hi Lia
Is this font available to purchase?
This is the font that I used, though I stacked the line over the other to make it filled. https://yellowdesignstudio.com/collections/gist
link seems to be broken
Thanks! We just updated all of the links. 🙂
Found them n they are perfect… many many Thanks 😊
Great! 🙂
Hi Lia,
Thankyou for sharing your beautiful ideas.
I have all my sauces n vinegars in bottles and wondered if you could add soy sauce, red wine vinegar, liquid smoke, worcestershire sauce, white vinegar, apple cider vinegar n white wine vinegar. Sorry for so many but seems such a shame to have them on display when your current nice labels laugh at the old labels on my other bottles.
Thankyou 🙂
Done! Enjoy. 🙂
I have tried to access the 2nd file you mention with no success, can you tell me how to get to it? I have downloaded the original, but don’t see access to a 2nd file.
Just download it again. It was updated.
Hi – I love this font for kitchen labels! I’ve used it for a variety of labels and containers. I was wondering if it is possible to add a few since the font is not available to buy? I was missing labels like cornmeal/corn flour, farrow, barley, couscous, bread (for a bread box), adding “bread” “pastry”, “00” and “cake” to add to flour, and “cane” for sugar. Any possibility to add some or all of these? Thank you again for the willingness to add so many already to this great project!
Added. Enjoy. 😉
I don’t see the vegetable and canola oil list on the file when I downloaded the svg. Is there an additional download ?
They are both there off the far right. You may need to scroll over.
Please disregard my previous message. After some more time I was able to figure out how to separate and resize. Do you have Canola Oil available?
I just added Canola Oil into the download for you. 😉
Lia, that is much better, however I still have a couple of questions.
1. Is there a way to separate the items? I don’t want to print them all.
2. Is there a way to re-size the items like there is currently with the Olive Oil, Balsamic Vinegar, Sea Salt and Pepper file that is in cricuit design space. I’d like to do one for canola oil that is the same size as the Olive Oil and Balsamic Vinegar file, but this file will not let me resize each item individually.
Thank you for your assistance.
You can “separate” them by clicking on the eye icon. They are all still there but then you can cut just the ones you like. For the oil resizing, I would cut that last and just resize it on your mat with all of the others hidden. You can use the measuring tool to get the exact size.
HI,
I have used your labels in cricut design space, but those are very limited so I was looking for additional labels that I could use to match what I already have. I downloaded the additional files today, but when I try to upload them to cricuit design space to print them it says the files is not compatible with my machine and jumbles everything together. Are these files SVG files that should be compatible with cricuit design space?
Hi Candy. I tested this file and found a way to keep it from overlapping. It is updated, so let me know if this one will work for you. You can pick and choose which you cut using the right side bar and clicking the eye icon to hide any words.
For Olive Oil, can you add LIGHT or EXTRA LIGHT?
Those have been added!
Hi! Is it possible to add Vegetable Oil?
We just added it to the “More” file 🙂
I love these labels! Would it be possible to add B. Vinaigrette , Misc. , and Specialty ?? Thank you!!
Hi! I just joined hoping that there was an avocado oil label to go with my olive oil one. Is there any way that you can send/make/upload one with that font? I know you said previously that it was a special font that you can’t release, but I’m really looking to match it. Thanks!! 🙂
Hi Michelle,
We have added many more labels to this post including Avocado Oil! There are now 2 SVG files to download for these labels, check out the “More Scandinavian Kitchen labels SVG Cut Files” to find the labels we have added.
Hello Lia, can you share with me the letter type for this project? I want to match other kitchen supplies I have…
it will be very much appreciated!
Hi Keysi,
This is a custom font that we are unable to share as an editable text, we recently added more labels to this post did you check out the “More Scandinavian Kitchen Label SVG Cut Files”? If you have labels you would like added please let us know and we can look into adding them. 🙂
Hey, I am a complete newbie so please bare with me, I hope I’m writing this in the right place Haha. I came across the kitchen labels after searching, A LOT, and they are absolutely perfect for what I want. However, I have a long list of other items I would like to use it for. I see it is a font you have customised… will you be adding any more or would it be possible in the future to be able to add ones where you can customise the text? I love it so much but I want everything to match so dont want to do these and not be able to do the others.
Hi Kate,
What labels would you like? We have had multiple requests now and have a short list of labels to add to this post and can add yours as well when we update them this week. 🙂
Hey Lia, Its stylish labels for olive oil, vinegar and salt pepper… All are looking pretty.
Thank you so much:-)
I’m an excited brand new subscriber! How do I order these labels? Thanks!! -Lisa
Here is a link to the project through Cricut! https://us.cricut.com/design/#/landing/project-detail/8050
I loved the way this project turned out! Thank you for sharing. One thing, in the Cricut project info it didn’t list the name of the font. Would you mind sharing the name of the font for the stylish kitchen labels?
So glad you like these labels!! The font is based on the Jist font family, but we did customize it a bit to make the labels 🙂
Lia, I love these labels, however, I would like to customize and make two other labels. How can I do that so that the font is the same?
Hi Lori,
Sorry these labels are not able to be edited or customized.
Would you add more labels to these like avocado oil and apple cider vinegar?
Hi Lori,
Sorry for the delayed response, we will be adding your requested labels plus some next week! If you have more suggestions please let us know 🙂
Thank you so much. You do beautiful work.
Thank you for your sweet comment, it warms my heart!
Do you sell the entire font? I would be interested in purchasing it.
It is based of Jist, you can purchase it from them. Please note that we customized that font, we don’t sell our fonts since they aren’t fully developed.
Is it possible to get the entire font from you, or can we only get the words you used in the project?
We customized the font for this one. And no you normally have to purchase the fonts from the developer/designer, that is what we do. (that’s how they pay their bills:-)
Hi Lia
Love your labels, is it possible to tell me the font or cricut alphabet you used, its really nice
Thanks
Heulwen

It is a custom font we used for this project.
Hi Lia, I want to purchase these SVG files and some of the others you make, do you know if I can use these files in my Silhouette machine?
Thank you
Leonie
