Floral Birthday Cards

My wonderfully talented designer Lindsay recently had a birthday, so of course we used her special day as an opportunity to design a new birthday card! This soft and feminine printable floral birthday card includes a wildflower wreath using Pantone’s 2016 colors of the year, a blushy pink called Rose Quartz and Serenity, a light blue with a tinge of purple. Coincidentally enough, Lindsay’s favorite color is rose gold, so it could not have lined up more perfectly!
To print this floral birthday card, we used our Canon PIXMA MG7720 Wireless Photo All-in-One Printer so we could get these trendy colors looking as vibrant as they deserve to be. We printed the design onto regular white card stock, but it would also be fun to play around with printing on different variations of white or even textured papers. You can find these at any craft store or local stationery store. Once you print your card, you can add a matching envelope liner in the same Serenity blue. This envelope liner (included in the download below) has a cute polka dot design. I would recommend printing the liner onto regular printer paper, because the thinner paper weight works better for sticking it into the envelope.
Not only is this birthday card special because it features the trendy Pantone 2016 colors of the year, but it also has a unique and creative envelope design! If you open the download you should see the regular floral birthday card, and then a smaller option with four rounded edges. Print this out on your card stock, flip the page over and then print our coral polka dot pattern on the back side! For this I also used my PIXMA MG7720, which was perfect for getting the colors looking creamy and beautiful. After you cut the design out, fold each of the round flaps inward. Once you form the creases, you can fold the card together like you would a moving box- fold the first three flaps inward moving clockwise, then fold the last flap under the first.
Our Pantone floral birthday card is blank on the inside, so don’t be shy in writing a thoughtful, loving birthday wish!
