Paper_Succulent_CenterpieceWe at Lia Griffith HQ are suckers for succulents. The structure of the plants and the soft tones that they come in make them just so endearing. These paper succulents have been designed with simplicity in mind so they are easy for anyone to make using the downloadable patterns or an SVG cutting machine file at the foot of this post.

There are seven succulents here, three of which are new designs that complement what we did in our paper succulent tutorial, wreath, favors, and heart wall art. The complete step-by-step tutorial for all seven of these paper plants can be found here!

Once our paper succulents were created, we glued a little craft wire to the base of each flower using our hot glue gun and set about building our eye-catching paper succulent centerpiece. Our gorgeous wooden bowl was filled with floral foam in the bottom to give the wires on each succulent a place to hold. Next, we covered the foam in a layer of moss and began arranging the succulents in place by inserting the craft wire straight into the floral foam—easy!

The great thing about this design is that you can play around with the arrangement until you are happy. Remove the succulents and re-insert them until you are pleased with the result.

We used 36 paper plants in our paper succulent centerpiece, but you could easily make something smaller or larger to suit your space. Be brave and embrace your creativity! We would love to see your work so if you’re off to make yourself a succulent paper flower centerpiece please do share your pictures with us on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram using the hashtag #MadeWithLia.

Enjoy! ~ Lia
