Become a MemberA couple of days ago I shared our adorable new honey bee tote as a perfect summer farmers market shopping bag. I love the honey bee theme for summer occasions and events not only because honey bees come out in warmer months, but also because they contribute to all the beautiful flowers that bloom in spring and summer! Going along with the honey bee theme we have these precious party favor boxes for your summer gatherings and barbecue shindigs.
Our honey bee party favor boxes were inspired by our cute paper heart wedding favor boxes. We recommended filling your wedding favor boxes with Jordan almonds, as they are common wedding favors. These party favor boxes, on the other hand, can be filled with any sort of treat or trinket that matches your party’s theme or personal preference! Download the SVG version if you will be using a cutting machine, or the PDF version if you plan to cut your boxes by hand. Using a cutting machine will conveniently create the papercut honeycomb designs on the sides of the box. The PDF template is white, and can be printed directly onto any color of metallic paper. To cut the honeycomb and top slits on the PDF version of the party favor boxes, I would try using an x-acto knife. Cut these boxes onto onto text weight metallic paper or pretty card stock. The card stock will be sturdier, but the text weight paper will be easier to fold. Find a link to the metallic paper that we used in the Shop this Project section! Once your party favor boxes are cut, fold the sides with the honeycomb designs inward first. Then fold the flaps with the slits on top of the honey bee “handle” of the box.
To complete our boxes, we used a glue dot roller to glue down the honeycomb part of the handle. This is optional, and we did this simply to make the honey bee stand out more. Place your party favor boxes at each table setting at a summer party, or hand them out for a child’s birthday party! So cute! I would love to see how you are using your party favor boxes, so share your photos with my via Instagram or email! Tag me in your photos, or use the hashtag #DIYDreamingWithLia. Enjoy your parties! ~ Lia

I know you can download the template if you become a member. Is there anyway that I can just buy the template for the bee favor box?
It is so creative!! I love it, and would like to use it for my baby girls first birthday party next year! X
Hi Estela! We don’t sell our templates separately, but you can always join us for a month then cancel your membership at any time.
I would like to purchase the Honey Bee box template. Is that possible? I’m not in a position at this time to commit to joining.
Hi Laura, thanks for the comment! At this time we don’t offer any projects for individual purchase. You can always sign up for membership and cancel anytime!
eeeeeeeeeee so cute! ?
🙂
It seems a lovely detail, how difficult it is to get that role. On the 10th I turn 51 years, the penalty is that it gives me time to prepare to celebrate. I used the bee to make a card, and will scan the command, I loved doing it.
I have yet to perfect my technique with watercolor pencils, but I try.
Thank you for giving me this very precious moments.
‘God bless you, your family and your team !!!
‘Happy 50 years !!!
Regards,
Carmen
