Which Witch Peg Doll Do You Love?

We chose a few different colors of felt, embroidery floss, and roving wool to give each witch their own unique look. You can easily customize your witch peg dolls by switching up the colors you use, styling their hair in new ways, or creating other little accessories for them. Our tutorial will show you how to make tiny brooms for them, but you could also craft some small felt pumpkins, a cauldron, or whatever else you imagine!

Crafting tip: Use the extra peg doll bodies for more projects, like our dracula, mummy, skeleton and cat!

How to Make Felt Witch Peg Dolls

  1. Gather your craft tools and materials. Then download the pattern below.
  2. Cut felt pieces according to the pattern, using scissors (recommended) or a cutting machine (optional). 
  3. Cut a small X in the middle of the witch hat brim — big enough to fit the peg doll head.
  4. Blanket stitch the edge of the witch's hat using 3 strands of embroidery floss.
