Though the design of this rainy day embroidered felt stamp looks detailed, our template (along with the fabric solvy stabilizer) makes it an easy DIY craft. So if you’re new to embroidery, don’t stress! Just follow our tutorial and be sure to reach out if you have questions.

As you can see in our styled photos, Emily made two stamps. One with rain underneath (or behind) the umbrella and one without. Using our pattern, you can add as many raindrops as you’d like to your stamp. And of course you can always use whatever felt and floss you prefer.

How to Make a Rainy Day Embroidered Felt Stamp

1. Gather your tools and materials. Then download the template listed on the right hand side at the top of this post.
2. Print the embroidery template on Sulky Stick and Stitch.
3. Cut the design out and place it on the felt in the embroidery hoop.
4. Stitch the raindrops along the diagonal lines using an uneven running stitch.
