My company motto is something that I hold dear and want to share with my new team and those who join our growing company along the way. As we are reorganizing the space and decorating the office for full tilt creativity and productivity, I thought it would be fun to add the motto to the large chalkboard door that once displayed my sewing project list. I had just received my 12 Months of Martha box and what do you know, not only was there a bottle of Erasable Liquid Chalk but an Alphabet Adhesive Silkscreen for chalkboard writing as well. This project was so quick and easy that I am looking for another place to use it! The next post will show you the full office redo at the stage it is right now so stay tuned! ~ Lia

You are truly inspiring. This is lovely. I can’t wait to see the rest. Wishing you continued success as your company grows!
Thanks Eileen! The post will be up today showing the complete space.
I think you are incredible Go Lia!
😉
A very befitting motto for your company, Lia…you’ve accomplished all 3 with me since I started subscribing to your e-mails and reading your blog! I like your chalkboard door — did you just use a chalk paint like Annie Sloan on it? Also, I LOVE the 2-tiered wire basket in the photo — I’ve been looking for something exactly like it to hold some of my crafting stuff! May I ask where you got it? Or is it a vintage OOAK piece? I love how it does NOT look like a typical kitchen/egg basket!
Thanks Donna! That is so good to hear. For this door I used a chalkboard paint from DecoArts. The two tier basket was a gift a very long time ago. It is actually a fruit basket, but I like it better for my twines. 🙂
So….are you hiring?
I am now a company of 4 and plan to grow!
Love it Lia.
And I adore the little vignette you created on your desk. So inspiring.
