Put a Bunny on It

Here is a simple idea to add a holiday accent to your Easter table setting – a bunny ears drinking cup topper! This year we are designing an entire table setting for a kid’s Easter table, and this project is just one piece of it. A major part of decor is really just a matter of accessorizing, and these little Easter drink toppers are the perfect accessories for your Easter beverages. As you can probably guess, the process of making them is beyond easy.

Cutting the Bunny Ears

Find the template below to get started. There is a PDF to cut out the ears by hand or an SVG to use with a cutting machine. We made the template so that it cuts out along the long side of your paper, so you can trim the belly band to any length to fit around your cup or jar. The PDF version will have the soft pink already printed on it, but you will have to add that detailing with an art marker or colored pencil if you are cutting the template with a machine. We recommend cutting onto white cardstock. Any lighter weight paper will be too flimsy for these bunny ears. To attach the two ends of the belly band together, we used a glue dot roller.

How to Use Easter Drink Toppers

We placed the drink toppers right under the mouths of our mini milk glasses. We then added some retro, pastel striped straws to complete the look. If you want to turn these into adult Easter drink toppers, these bunny ears would look adorable at the top of a champagne bottle (for your Easter mimosas). Just sayin’! You can really use the bunny ear cutouts for any sort of decor, so get creative.
