An Award-Winning DIY

If you’re throwing a Halloween party with awards for best costume and so on, you can use the Canon IVY to make voting simpler and more fun. Just use your phone to take pictures of everyone in costume. Then use the IVY to print photos one by one and stick them on patterned paper. Hang them up on the wall, have everyone vote, and then hand out ribbons to the winners! Fun, right?

To help you out with your Halloween costume contest, we designed a few different patterns for you. And thanks to our friends at Canon, you can download and print these frames and ribbons for FREE!

Once you print these patterns, you can use them as frames for everyone’s Halloween costume picture. Just stick each photo on a frame and hang it up on the wall for an easy voting process. Or you could let everyone print their own photos and have them stick it on the pattern they like best. Then, give everyone a number and have people write their names on the back of the frame.

And even if you’re not voting on costumes, you can still use the IVY to print pictures at your Halloween party. This way, everyone can leave with photos of them, their family, and their friends!

One of the best things about printing photos is getting them off your phone and being able to relive fun memories every time you look at the picture. Since the IVY is small and portable, it’s easy to print pictures right away from wherever you are. You can also use the Canon Mini Print app to customize your photos with emojis, stickers, text, and more.

Do you have a Canon IVY? Or one of the Canon crafting printers? Let us know what you think of them! Or feel free to ask us about them, too. We use Canon printers for multiple projects, so we’re happy to help if you have any questions.
