Cardstock Delphinium
Delphinitely Charming
It never quite ceases to amaze me just how many floral wonders there are to craft in this world (around 400,000 —if you’re wondering). And, it’s always so thrilling to share a never-before-seen project with you all. So, without further ado, allow me to introduce our latest addition to our ever-expanding garden of paper blooms: the stunning Cardstock Delphinium. She joins our esteemed collection of paper flowers with grace and charm, adding yet another layer of beauty to our crafting repertoire.

Become a MemberThough we think this project is a fun challenge, it’s more appropriate for our advanced-level crafters. However, we encourage anyone with an adventurous spirit to give it a go! But, be mindful that constructing your Cardstock Delphinium involves quite a few pieces. So, to streamline the process, we highly recommend downloading our SVG file and using your cutting machine. Once you’ve gathered your tools and materials, let’s dive in!
Among the vast array of Delphinium varieties, our focus today is on the Belladonna — a name that exudes elegance and sophistication. Don’t worry; unlike its poisonous namesake, our Belladonna Delphinium is nothing short of enchanting. With its captivating blend of blue and lavender petals, it’s bound to steal the spotlight in any springtime arrangement.
While designing our belladonna, we really focused on the intricate details that lend them their realistic charm. To capture that “freshly-picked” essence, we used colored pencils and PanPastels to add depth and dimension to the petals. This technique is a great way to bring your paper flowers to life, so channel your inner artist and get blending!
Remember, crafting is a journey of exploration and personal expression. Embrace the process, let your creativity flow freely, and don’t hesitate to experiment! Once your breathtaking Delphinium are complete, share your masterpieces with our crafting community or on Instagram using #MadeWithLia.

Can this be made with crepe paper😬?
This template is designed for cardstock. Of course a crepe paper delph would be gorgeous, but would need a different template. 🙂
Beautiful! As much fun as I am having in Crepe Paper Flowers Vol. 2, I still really enjoy frosted paper/cardstock projects. Can’t wait to make these!
I do too! And I love mixing all of them in arrangements. 🙂
