Muscari To My Ears

Known as grape hyacinth, they arrive in early spring, sporting rich, saturated color and a fun, structured form that begs for crafty interpretation. Our Cardstock Muscari video tutorial takes that striking silhouette and transforms it into a bold paper bloom that demands attention.

In the world of gardening, muscari are noteworthy for their bold, saturated color and their reliable return year after year. As a result, they’ve come to symbolize trust, sincerity, and quiet strength, characteristics that feel especially meaningful as we step into a new season and a fresh start. These Cardstock Muscari are designed to do more than mimic their living counterparts; they also evoke the same deep meaning and symbolism. And unlike fresh blooms, these gorgeous flowers will never wilt, ensuring their return to your seasonal décor year after year.
When finished, style your Cardstock Muscari in a narrow vase, or tuck them into a larger arrangement for added depth and texture. Additionally, their unique shape and structure contrast beautifully with softer blooms to create a more sophisticated look. However, no matter how you choose to style them, these flowers add color, drama, and a touch of elegance to just about any space.
So, if you’re ready for your next craft challenge, we can’t recommend this Cardstock Muscari video tutorial enough. We also can’t wait to help you push your creative limits, discover new techniques, and create something truly stunning this season. Oh! And once complete, don’t forget to share them in our crafters' community and on social using #MadeWithLia.

Back to the TopI really love this flower, will you be making them in crepe paper? I would really love that
We have them on the crepe paper list. 🙂
seems I need a lot of patience to build these. I love Muscari and prefer the dark blue ones. End of March, beginning of April the real ones will bloom – if there’s no snow once more
I have them popping in my garden already. Mine are a pale lavender.
